    Hotel was lovely, had a good atmosphere and was well decorated with a homely feel to it. Breakfast was well presented and staff were very friendly and helpful. The site didnt book the hotel room properly so they had no idea we were arriving but they gave us an alternative room at a discounted price.

    Shower was quite small and felt cramped.

    Mostly the staff were helpful and friendly.

    The first member of staff was very slow to answer the front door.when she did she told us the room was damged the previous week. she also seemed to be on her cellphone quite a lot. She seemed anxious to let us know that she would be off the next day (Sunday)from 11am to 5pm. Another member of staff was most helpful in helping us get a better room for the rest of our stay.

    service was generaly good garden and decor was nice.

    the room was very dirty, a thick layer of dust all over. After complain room was not cleaned at all.

    No bed side light: Dirty sink plug: Shower inadequate and leaky: wet floor after shower use; Bar and lounge closed on Saturday evening-staff at local restaurant!

    Very nice and clean rooms, helpful staff, useful facilities (hairdryer, iron, tv), cheap.

    Light in the bathroom didn't work, small rooms, we had some problem checking in

    Excellent staff, and even though checking in was from 15:00, he let us go into our room and check-in at 09:00 ! Very friendly man. Room was very clean, ensuite bathroom was clean.

    Some lights didn't work, and at 1 time the entire electricity broke down.

    Perfect location for my visit. Clean and pleasant rooms, recently refurbished. Staff friendly and helpful.

    Shower temperature variable, one minute cool, the next scorching hot.

    I liked the fact that it was understated. It was just what we needed. It was clean and neat. I would recommend it to others for a place to stay for a short London break.

    the one thing wrong was the room we were put in was too noisy, it was at the front and the road was too busy.
