    "Good standard for general business overnight stay. Friendly, efficient and clean. " (108077410)

    Easy to check in. Quiet even though on road side. Comfortable bed!

    Bathroom could have been bigger with more up-to-date power-shower but all was in working order.

    "Dissapointing, even for a an overnight stay." (107368101)

    Clean + modern/new fittings and decoration

    Cold, stark, basic. Breakfast only served up to 09:00 on a Sunday. Reception staff, although pleasant, just performed the basic handover of key when booking in rather than explain room and hotel facilities. Corridors were freezing cold and, although the hotel did not appear to be very busy, the room we were allocated was one of the furthest from reception.

    The staff are friendly and efficient and rooms clean

    The 'high tech'bathroom equipment is a nightmare, particularly for someone who uses a wet razor not an electric shaver

    The staff was very friendly. the hotel was clean and modern.

    No real bad points, but the hotel didn't get our booking fax for a few hours which made booking car parking at the hotel more difficult, but there were no problems in the end.

    On arrival nice clean hotel with secure parking.

    Level of service poor (Room not cleaned and towels not changed after first night) and pizza supplied by the hotel seriously overpriced.

    "The hotel was great. Extremely dissapointed with the staff. Not even an apology when they double booked the room/" (97863411)

    The Hotel was Clean and Tidy with good in room items.

    The staff were terrible, we checked into our room and were just getting settled when our door opened and they had checked another couple into the same room.

    "The actual walking time to the hotel from the nearest tube station, as we would have called a taxi from the station." (97360379)

    Excellent staff, good standard of accomodation for price, everything very clean and well laid out.

    The hotel was not in walking distance of a tube station (about 25 mins walk, no good if you have luggage)

    "Hotel was 25 minute walk from a tube station. Staff were unhelpful and weak with the English language. Biggest disaster was breakfast on the morning of the London Marathon. Came down just after 7am to find no space waited 20 minutes asked just for a bowl of porridge and 15 minutes later the worst prepared bowl ever arrived - luke warm milk on unporridged oats! This after a full English was put in front of me due to a language error. Location poor; accomodation and facilities fine; management and staff poor." (97042677)

    "Good location, close to the South Bank, Tower Bridge with good Tube and Bus services closeby. Hotel was friendly , clean, modern providing excellent facilities at a fair price." (97125989)

    Very comfortable bed. Modern TV. Coffee making and hairdrying facilities.

    Shower not working efficiently. Very poor flow. Main (top) shower head inoperative.

    Curiously basic - hanging space only no wardrobe or drawe space. Ok for one night but not for longer stay. Dislike automatic tap - does not respond to tooth brush. Towels small and thin

    contemporary styling and fresh appearance. secure carparking. Good price (but I didnt stay for the breakfast)

    bits didnt work - some of the lighting in the room, the heating system usually pushed out cold air (but sometimes ok), shower cubicle didnt fit in the space by a big gap and looked unfinished, non-touch taps in sink were very difficult to control and usually sprayed water everywhere. Pillows and sheets werent completely clean.

    "There is very little in the way of good eating around the hotel. The restaurants around were not one you would want to go in alone. I ended up in the Tesco cafe!" (97107821)

    Clean, fresh, neat and modern, a pleasant surprise.

    The room was VERY noisy with constant traffic noise all night. The room was also VERY cold and took ages to warm up. The card system is good for ensuring lighting is off but in winter you do need the heating on prior to arrival it was uncomfortably cold.

    "we were not shown any of the facilities i.e resturant, I would have preferred a twin room to be larger, there was no space to move much. I would class that size room as a single compared to other hotels i have used in the past. I thought the cost was high for the area in which the hotel stands.     "Hotel was excellent, with safe carparking staff were very friendly and helpful, we stayed there while attending a gig at Brixton Achedemy, and the transport to the venue was extremly easy, i will be staying here evrytime i go to a Brixton gig, the rooms were very modern and clean (widescreen HD TV was a very nice touch) excellent hotel, thank you very much" (97368667)

    "The hotel is within walking distance of Elephant & Castle tube (about 20-30 mins). There are good road links if busses/taxis are more your thing. The staff were friednly and polite. Easy check in, easy check out. The front desk is open 24 hours so a 6am return from clubbing isn't a problem :) It's cheap - so don't expect it to match an Oberoi hotel. That said - it was clean, everything worked (including the LCD TV & aircon), you can get a smoking room if you want and it's very conveniently placed. We were only there one night so no idea what the food is like." (97347795)

    Clean and tidy room, small but compact.

    I found the check-in Clerk judgemental of my request on 3 occasions he urged me to reconsider the room type as I was with a same-sex partner, I have travelled all over the world, and yet it was in London that I was most offended!!

    The room was clean and I was able to get a good rest. The t.v. in the room was nice, but it only had five channels.

    Bad location, awful service.

    "we ordered a pizza at 12:15 and didnt recieve it till 1:05 am. we were so hungry, when we actually got the pizza and wedges they were cold. didnt appricate that but couldnt be botherd to wait again to have it warmed up. another thing was that we ordred a quaudruple room and didnt recieve the diference betwwen that and a triple room."     the whole hotel was very modern and most important very clean.
