    Plenty of choice re breakfast

    Too much crammed into too small a space in the bedroom, but more seriously, bathroom facilities were a real letdown - an overbath shower arrangement, into a chipped pink bath was not a pleasing experience - a proper power shower would have been preferable, but the toilet was quite disgusting and need not have been. An overnight soak with bleach, or soda even, would probably have got rid of the very black marks within the WC pan. We might have stayed a second night, but were put off by the condition of the loo.

    "Overall, with prices in Aberystwyth being high, it was value for money for the town. Very friendly & helpful place to stay & very comfortable. The only slight downside was that the room we had could do with a little updating but it did not spoil our stay." (107558610)

    Very central. Superb breakfast. Nice & quiet.

    Could do with bit of decorating. Shower was not very powerful.

    We had a room in the attic,which was far too small,as there was a double bed and a single bed in the room.The room and bathroom was not very clean.when we went for breakfast at 9.00,there was hardly any hot food left.We had to ask if more eggs etc. were on the way.The staff wasn't very friendly that morning,no greeting and everything seemed a big effort to do. I feel we overpaid for the accommodation and service.We stayed in better hotels,with better service,for less money.

    Friendly Hotel

    26 seats for breakfast, possibly 60-70 guests, 90 minute time slot = total chaos, still not been offered toast & coffee. shared a plate for breakfast as there were none out, and couldn't eat together as food not available at same time. Could not shower without soaking floor as tap end of bath opened in to the room, but the shower curtain covered the taps. water ran hot & cold so needed to keep changing the setting.

    Friendly reception staff, although I was under the impression that the Queensbridge would take my money automatically given that I had already filled out my credit card details online.

    The light bulb didn't work, I only found this out in the evening when I returned as I didn't need to check it when I first checked in. The breakfast was substantial but the sausages were horrid. They actually tasted of bits of hoof and cardboard (get some nice organic ones!!)

    Easy to find. Easy check-in/out. Convienent location.

    Small room, but then aren't they all in Europe. Breakfast wasn't served until 7:30AM, after which we needed to leave.

    "I would use this hotel again as it's central to the town. The Breakfast was quick and easy. Overall a satisfying stay" (107823880)

    Breakfast was plentiful and good standard. Room was quiet and comfortable. En Suite facilities were in working order

    T.V arial wasn't strong enough. Picture was poor. I wasn't in the room for too long so not a major turn off Parking was quite limited by I just managed to squeeze in

    room had a few nice touches eg bottles of water, good amount of tea coffe etc, quite nice toileteries

    overall bedroom dated and a little bit grubby/shabby could have done with a redecorate and tidy up and tv was rubbish and needed renewing

    Convenient for needs i e Son at nearby University and able to spend time with him.

    Outside noise from drunks walking by most of night into early hours, 5 o'clock a m to be precise!

    "having had cause to complain about damage to my car parked at the front of the hotel in the disabled bay. I belived this damage was caused by guests staying in room 2 and throwing lit cigarettes out of the window and burning on my cars paintwork. I asked for the addresses of the guests of thst room and the hotels insurance details this was refused. I then asked for the owners details and was called to the phone to speak to him. He refused my request and was not helpful at all leading me to believe that pehaps the hotel does not have insurance. I do intend to take this matter further with the authorities." (97770569)

    dirty carpet, window handle falling off when trying to close because of noise from neighbours till 4am reported to police. hair dryer falling off wall due to poor fitting. room very hot and unable to open all windows. car covered in cigarettes that had burt down on paintwork probably from hotel room windows above disabled bay at front of hotel.

    There were plenty of tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water,clean white sheets, good location they were able to add an extra night for us and apologised for the room change.

    1st room - liquid soap on the shower/bath wall indicating poor cleaning. ancient tv and hairdryer. 2nd room - the fire exit to the hotel was via our room, and was also blocked by a table and chairs. There was also a mirror on the fire exit door which would be confusing in the event of a fire. There was an extremely broken power socket on the wall. No bin liner in an unclean bin. Half a packet of peanuts and a dead bug on the flooe indicated poor vacuuming. We didn't get clean towels in the first 5 nights.

    good value for money friendly staff, well furnished room and clean.

    The mattress was quite lumpy. The bath was very slippery to stand in when showering, I have just had a knee replacement and didn't feel very safe.

    "Close to centre of town, car park very snug but public car park very close.Generally good ,clean,good food,all that you would expect of that star hotel.Prices of dreink and food a little pricey. overall well done" (97528021)

    "The room was very small, hardly room to swing a cat. We returned to the hotel at 9.30pm to find it closed up and the bar shuttered. Breakfast in the morning was basically good as regards quantity and selection, but we were the first to arrive and the buffet style cooked breakfast was on a hotplate but was luke warm at best" (97719719)

    Very helpful staff, breakfast excellent

    We were given a family room although there was only two of us. The wallpaper was falling off the ceiling. No comfortable chairs in the lounge area.

    "We had booked two nights at the FOUR SEASONS,but were transfered to the QUEENS BRIDGE instead.The lift didn't work on the first day,and the room was on the third floor.The room itself was ok,but not worth the £75 a night.The breakfast was very good and the staff pleasant.I can't compare the two hotels obviously,but i would book a few days again in either,(providing the lift worked,only joking)."     Location. Friendly staff.

    Smell of cooking fat that permeated the building. Excessive temperature of hot water. Top and bottom boards of the bed.

    The Hotel is in the town and also close to the sea. It is warm and comfortable and a private car park

    The bed was incredibly comfortable and the facilities were all clean and working. The decor throughout the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was fabulous.

    It took a while and a bit of scalding to achieve the right temperature in the shower. But this was the only small issue. A great hotel.

    "the hotel does well with the profesional standard of staff but it is let down by the corners cut in the construction, over priced unless you stay in the hot tub suit at the same rate" (97736678)

    it was clean and tidy, the staff were very helpfull

    the beds were rock hard, standard of decorating was very poor,loose hand rails on the stairs,no extractor fan in the bathroom, useless area to hang anything more than 2 items in the room
