    Very friendly and organised so checking in and out was quick and easy. Helpful with directions and advice for tourist spots. Attentive to details to make the stay comfortable.

    The layout of the house meant that the bathroom was small.

    Janet was extraordinarily kind and helpful. She was friendly, interesting, and gave excellent insight for eating and spots to be sure to see in Stratford.

    "I enjoyed staying at Hampton Lodge and would have liked to have stayed longer. Unfortunately for me, I had to move on to meet my tight schedule as the rest of my visit to the UK was for research work, not leisure." (107175711)

    The host was very informative and helpful. I had an upstairs room that was pleasantly furnished and spacious, with a comfortable double bed and ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was generous and very nice.

    The only drawback is that the B&B is situated on the other side of the river so it's a bit of a walk into town and as there are no buses, it means a taxi ride if you have problems walking but it's fine if you are fit and well.

    Bed was very comfortable - I slept very well. Room was very clean with tea/ coffee facilities, hairdryer and en-suite shower/ toilet - everything I needed. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, she was very informative about Stratford - gave us a map and was able to recommend somewhere for supper which was great. The full English Breakfast she provided was delicious.

    Very friendly, but still had our own space. Lovely breakfasts, good choice. The hotel was in a good position as to walk into Stratford upon Avon

    I dont think we can think of any. The only bad point was the weather, it was a bit damp. A horrible year for rain. But it ended up sunny. So everyone was happy.

    We were warmly welcomed and offered maps and restaurants were recommended. Thw lady who ran the Hampton Lodge was very friendly and made us feel at home.

    Older room facilities but not a concern as I guess it comes with the age of the Guest House

    locatation was very good near to town centre landlady very informative helpful and friendly

    en-suite was very small no room to dry yourself and the wash basin was in the bedroom but served the purpose as we were only there weekend

    Its location, close to our daughter's home

    The mattress was collapsed at one side , but was brought to the attention of the owner who assured us she would rectify.

    The accommodation was very clean and modern. the owners were very polite and friendly and had a lot of information about the area to offer. The hotel was located central so we were able to park the car and not use it all weekend.

    "This is just a normal bed and breakfast--nothing really fancy to see. The staff was a bit overworked trying to get breakfast ready for everyone so it took a bit long to arrive at the table. It did not have that homey welcoming feel that some hosts provide when you stay in their home. It was okay and reasonably priced, but if you are looking for somethng special, this is not the place. If you just want a place to sleep that is clean with a nice breakfast, then this is okay and within walking distance to the local downtown area." (97338136)

    It was located within walking distance of the local theater and there was a nice jogging path nearby.

    One of our rooms smelled a bit musty and the smell did not go away even with the window open.
