    "Easy and convenient" (108903816)

    Overall good value

    No heating in room, and the mobile heater did not have a long enough lead to reach the socket. Had to lift it onto the ledge.

    Breakfast was ok although shortage of toast. Hairdryer in room

    Room was extremely damp with black mould on walls, sheets and pillows were damp. Room was noisy. Fire alarm went off at 4.00am. False alert. The room was in the basement and unfit especially as we paid over £100. I had a severe asthma attack due to dampness and have been diagnosed with a chest infection 2 days later. A horrendous experience. Please take this hotel off the internet.

    Location

    Continental Breakfast - Tinned Fruit, cereal, boiled egg and bread (there was toast but not enough). Expected fresh friut, cold meat and yoghurts... Room - Pillows very thin and inadeqaute. Luggage holding - The only place where luggage could be left before/after check out was on full display in the lobby. Lift - Only one of these worked, which was very slow, and we could not find the stairs I have stayed in much better hotels that have only 2 stars - IBIS and Travel Lodge

    reception was clean and looked smart

    The carpet was coming away from the stairs in our room, there was obvious evidence of damp on the walls of the room, the mattress had collapsed on one side of the bed, one of the electrical sockets in the room didn't work properly, the tv had very few channels in english, and fairly poor reception, the sink didn't drain properly and had no plug in it. The shower was luke warm in the morning, there was a large gap under the door which we had to cover with a towel, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, the light fitting was in pieces on the ceiling, the hair dryer in the room was intermittent to say the least.

    fantastic location; walking distance from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and all public transportations, very good international and young neighborhood with many ethnic restaurants (I recommend a small Maroccan restaurant at the corner of Porchchester and Queensway), low price (42GBP/night)

    my bathroom was supposed to be adjacent to my room; it was two flights up and was ridiculously small; no toiletry was provided. I had only 1 hanger in the wardrobe in my room; TV was not working.

    Hotel and room clean; room and bathroom tidied up every day; qiet area and nice view from the room; acceptable distances to public transport and shopping areas. Polite and helpful staff.

    The rooms are a bit too small for two people moving around. There is no space for storing your luggage away during your stay.

    Hotel clean and well organised; room and bathroom clean and tidied up properly every day; quiet street and nice view from room; friendly and helpful staff; proper and clean bed and bed linnen. Fresh and good quality bath towels.

    Room a bit small but size just acceptable if you are out all day and just need the beds - space too narrow when two people are moving in the room. No space for storing the suitcases! Only limited number of slices of toasted bread brought at any one time, even during peak time with lots of people in the breakfast room. Could be better organised.

    Room was clean, bed was comfortable, window opened (unlike another hotel I stayed at recently)staff were friendly. Bedding and towels were clearly well-used but clean.

    Relatively minor - Had to wait for ten minutes to book in as the reception desk was unmanned, which was tedious after four hours travelling with a heavy backpack. "Continental" breakfast seemd to consist of cheap-looking sliced bread to toast, with various accompaniments - not a croissant in sight....

    room was an adequate size for the three of us. Clean and hoovered which is in my opinion very good, excellent continental breakfast and plenty of it. Enjoyed it very much.

    One little complaint the pillow in the bed was a bit on the smelly side.

    "The location and the lift was the best, otherwise this hotel leaves you nothing more than any other hotel in terms of size and cosiness. They're all alike in this price range, it seems..." (107436200)

    The hotel had en elevator, which was great since we had a stroller and two kids. Pembridge is located in a safe and nice district - Queensway is a great street where everything you need is found. Close to the city!

    Bedlights out of order, the toast-system at breakfast, no tea-facilities on room, the maintenance forgot to close our door properly one night!!!

    Comfortable bed, good location, nice pubs and restaurants around, 3 tube stations nearby/3 tube lines nearby, good shopping nearby

    Simple breakfast, broken electrical shaving socket (and no backup available), a little noisy (next door and upper rooms)

    Room not big, but clean, warm and pleasant, TV, lift, staff friendly, not far from the Tube, shopping facilities and nice restaurants nearby

    Hotel would need some renovation, not cheap, sometimes poor sleep because of noisy guests, breakfast management needs some improvements

    "I had read previous reviews of this hotel which were mainly negative, but I found this hotel to be absolutely fine. I had my 9yr old with me and I found the area to be safe, and quite lively even at 9pm. The staff were nice, the room was small but clean and it was identical to the photograph on the website and the breakfast was fine. I had no problems whatsoever." (108066966)

    The central location, and hotel was easy to find on arriving in Bayswater. This hotel is absolutely fine for an overnight stay and I would come again.

    No tea/coffee facility in the room. Available in reception at a charge of 50p

    You can eat as much as you want (cheese, eggs, bread/butter/jam, cereals), bed and sheets were fine, area nice and calm (except for the wooden floor), close to hyde park and underground stations (10min from bayswater)

    No Shampoo or shower gel (just plain soap), a few haires in the bathroom and nothing to block the bath, tv doesn't have a good reception, carpet damaged at some places

    There were no tea making facilities in the room, and were only available in the lobby for 50 pence. Staff never answered the phone in the lobby, so we had to go downstairs to ask anything. We had to sleep in twin beds despite the fact that we stayed 3 nights nad requested a change several times. Bad pillows, no service...and no access to the park behind the hotel because the desk staff couldn't find the keys.

    Hotel is very lovely and clean. This was also my second time I had stayed in this hotel this year. Everything was really excellent the first time so we decided to come back.

    The room this time was less clean, more worn and our TV had just about no reception.
