    Excellent advice and help on our walking tours from Keith. Letting us change and use the toilets before we checked in. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds, and quiet.

    "Absolutely thrilled that we found such a quaint and home-y accommodation. Beautiful house, lots of history and information about the surrounding area. Keith was such a help with finding food and drinks nearby as well as giving us a great route to follow for local sight-seeing." (107830185)

    owners were extremely helpful, preparing maps for us and adviseing on places to go

    I could'nt find anything major a few minor points like dirt road leading up to the hotel

    Lovely secluded setting. Interesting, friendly staff

    Brynhonddu does not take credit cards. This fact was not noted on your booking website. I had the cash but it could have been an awkward moment.

    "Staff were very friendly and knowledgable about the local area. The rooms were fairly basic and on the small side and there were no locks on the doors. The drive upto the guesthouse was very rough and could do with surfacing. The cooked breakfast in the morning was good but on the small side." (97893457)

    "This bed and breakfast was really good, the owners were very helpful preparing maps and advising of good places to visit. The driveway is a steep hill and we were at the top in the converted loft which made the walk from the car to our room a bit of a chore. I don't want to take much away from this place as it was amazing though and I think mine and my partners personal preference would have been slightly different to this place. The long tree lined driveway is in fact a tree lined dirt track." (97382214)

    The room was brilliant, location great and the owners were extremely helpful, preparing maps for us etc

    In the dining room there was one large table for all guests to sit. Although this was a very nice room and table, I would have prefered to have a bit more privacy from other guests. Had we been there for longer we would have got to know the other guests but when they came for breakfast and we were tucking into a fry up it made us feel a little uncomfortable.

    Wonderful scenery and location superb breakfast. The owners made you really feel at home and served tea and Welsh cakes on arriving without charging for them

    Cramped bedrooms and bathroom and toilet, but this is a minor detail and there was no other way to convert this old house

    Freindly owners, good food, nice hotel

    Difficult to find after leaving Main Road
