    "We had a great time. The breakfasts were delicious!" (108704502)

    The hosts were very helpful in contacting the airlines to locate our lost baggage. They helped us locate local sites to visit and sources of information on local history. They were very gracious at all times during our stay.

    Great room. Very comfortable bed. Quiet/ peaceful hotel at night. Great breakfast and good service.

    Relatively expensive.

    Unfortunately my visit was due to a family bereavement. Jim and Doreen, the owners of Davaar House Hotel were particularly helpful and extremely kind to me at this difficult time. I look forward to returning to their hotel under happier circumstances.

    The kindness and professionalism both Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis offer to their guests is of extremely high level. It is such that if you don´t pay attention to the facilities, you won´t realize how good they are. Our room was a perfect place to stay.

    Only a very little one, which applies to so many places in Great Britain: the adaptors (or better to say the "no adaptors") to plug the mobile telephone or the lap top loaders in. But this bad point is nothing compared with the amount of good points we found there!

    "Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis couldn't have been more helpful. I was able to have a very good meal at 10.00pm, although evening meals are normally served between 6.00 and 9.00pm. In addition, because he saw that I was having difficulty climbing the stairs, Mr. Jarvis put me in a (much bigger) room on the first floor, instead of the single room I should have had on the second floor (i.e. two floors up). The breakfasts were delicious." (97009100)
