    "The hotel smelled a bit damp and when we used the oven it smoked as it hadn't been cleaned. The previous occupants had let 2 bags of rubbish in the hall cupboard which hadn't been cleared" (97248997)

    the accommodation was modern and well equiped. Location was fine

    modern building, nice bed, helpfull staff.

    extremely difficult to find even with sat nav,please note postcode will not take you to the hotel. cable tv , dvd & oven all not working !!! 2 sets off towels for 3 people.

    "Overall it served a purpose but do not expect any kind of service - this is a no frills stopovers or a cheap weekend if you want somewhere to bring back and cook your own food etc." (107901808)

    The location was very good for the city centre and it was a good way of accommodating several people cheaply when we did not need the service levels of a normal hotel.

    Its clearly a set of apartments that they cannot sell rather than an aparthotel. One of the rooms had not been cleaned and the beds looked like someone had just got out of them. The rooms have also been abused a bit by previous guests so furniture is damaged, paintwork marked etc. As there are no staff there for the majority of the time I would not reccomend it for women travelling on their own as some of our party did not feel safe.

    Fixtures and fittings excellent,location excellent,comfort excellent.

    Reception or lack of abysmal.Need 24hr manned reception. Would appreciate acceptance of AMEX cards. When receptionist appeared he was very good, helpful and obliging. A bit difficult to find.

    Clean room and comfortable bed.

    No signage indicating that this is the Quality City Apartments. No number on the building to say that this was 6 bath lane. The doors were locked and we couldn't get in. There was no one at reception. I only managed to check in with the help of a tenant coming out the door, who lead me up the dodgey lane to an indistinct building where someone knew about my booking. I spent an hour walking up and down the street, trying to work out where to go. Found another person who have booked in as well .... waiting by the side of the road. Need instructions how to use the washing machine and the TV. Not particularly intuitive.

    Spacious, clean and well appointed.

    Very stuffy in rooms at night. Could have done with a few extras in bathrooms such as bin, shelf for toiletries and the correct number of towels.(There were three of us but only 2 towels) Extra settee would have been good too.

    "It is very nice and a step above a regular hotel. There are some good places to eat on High Street and it is near good shopping. The kitchen suppled the basic things for cooking." (97469094)

    It was very clean and comfortable. Great location. We would most likely stay there again if we were to visit that area.

    construction around the hotel makes it hard to get to. The reservation confirmation stated that it was apartment 302 in the same building and that the discription of that studio apartment indicated that there was a lounge area and then a double bedroom. What we got was just a hotel room with a nice kitchen area, no chairs or a sofa to relax on. I booked this as I wanted at least a n area to sit and relax while hubby was still sleeping in the morning. This was not the case. For that reason, I was disappointed. Another thing was that there were no wash clothes in the bathroom.

    "The booking process was quick and simple in a great location and at a great price compared to hotel searches. Would definitley go there again!!!!" (97557164)

    It was clean and tidy and the apartment was very trendy in its fittings and the design of the apartment.

    The quality of the bed was poor and broken therefore had to sleep on the floor, however reported the matter and was solved promptly.

    i really liked how cosey the layout was,was really cute!

    Very clean, new, and well furnished accomodation, ideal for both business and leisure travellers alike.

    There was a fully fitted kitchen, with not so much as a tea-bag in sight - had I known in advance it wouldn't have been a problem to have taken my own supplies!!

    couldnt find the road to hotel one way system a nightmare quicker to walk looking for quality hotel but no signs on building to say it is a Quality hotel

    "The quality and price of the hotel was good, it came complete with all the facilities and amenities that i had expected. i would liked to of known how to contact the reception because the number i dialed was constantly engaged resulting in us just arriving at the apartment." (97975404)

    It was comforting and the cleanliness was excellent

    The toilet had a slight leak when the chain was flushed

    "Very comfortable and cosy appartment with all amenities you could ask for. Area felt safe and 24 hours access to the fitness room was a great plus." (97931750)

    Very close to the city center and conference venue, very quiet with superb bathroom facilities and a cosy furnished one-bed-room, so that you rather felt at home than in a hotel. The wireless internet certainly was a huge plus!!!

    Just minor things as a nightstand and bed lamp to read and dump things before you go to sleep. A mirror in the main room or entrance area would have helped, too. Otherwise everything was fantastic!
