    Nothing too much trouble from the hosts. Warm,charming, friendly & knowledgeable couple. Breakfast excellent for choice & service. Close proximity to town. Ample parking. Definite B&B we would return to in the future.

    A very pleasant, clean and convenient place to stay. It was closer to the centre of York than I thought it was (the previous place) I stayed at was some distance away. A very nice breakfast as well. A lot of useful information about the city and local attractions.

    Nothing really, except for some confusion over operating the in-room t.v. (then again, I didn't go to York to watch t.v.).

    The "extras" such as easy access to fresh milk and the supply in each room of snacks at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was good quality.

    Rooms super clean with every necessary facility and some nice extras that showed real thought had gone into the guesthouse. Food was good and plenty of it, nice owners, v polite etc, comfy beds and a quiet atmosphere which made for four good nights' sleep! Only a short and easy walk away from city centre.

    Single rooms were very small. I didn't mind too much because we weren't there much and they were clean and comfortable which is the main thing. We also discovered we would have paid less is we had booked direct with the guesthouse so we won't be using the same booking agent agian! Ring the owners dircet - they have a website.

    "We had a lovely weekend in York made even better by the friendliness of our hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the best breakfast we've had in a long time. A good location, quiet and easy to find, free parking, only a short 5 minute walk to the minster." (97136644)

    "we were made to feel very welcome, everywhere was neat and clean, our room was a little small but it was adequete, the breakfast were very nice and cooked how we like our food, we would stay there again, we thought it was very good value for the money, thank you" (97514911)

    "we arrived later than we hoped but this didn't faze the hosts. they were very helpful and friendly and suggested a few activities that we might like to try over our stay. the short (5 mins) walk to the centre of york was a bonus." (97915341)

    nothing we really disliked, all we were after was a bed for the night after ghost hunting!!!!!
