    Good food at a reasonable price.

    Some traffic noise from road - not too bad during night. Bedside lights could do with switches instead of having to turn off at plug.

    The internet said it was a 12.00 check out however we were asked to leave at 10.30 and they knew nothing about the websites 12.00 statement.

    Lovely views

    No cleaning seemed to have been done in the dining room during our 2 night visit. The same cornflakes which were on the floor when we arrived were still there when we left. Extremely small wash basin in Room 6 which is a family room. If you arrive between 3.00 and 6.00pm the hotel is closed and you have to phone and ask for the door to be opened so you can check in. What do guests without a mobile phone do?

    Friendly staff. Excellant food, particularly the lunch and evening menu. handy location 1 mile from Bridgnorth.

    Bathroom cramped - sink too small though trying to balance the bathroom size and bedroom size I can see why. The shower was not very good as it took ages for hot water to arrive.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Appearance throughout was very pleasant.

    Our room was rather noisy as there was an extractor fan from the kitchen on the wall next to us but I don't think it affected other rooms.

    Very welcoming. Food excellent (not 'pub grub') and varied menu. Fantastic view from our bedroom window and panoramic from the dining room. Bed and room very comfortable. Would definitely return.

    "We were told the shower problem is being attended to, perhaps we should have been warned when checking in? A little TLC on the room would make a big difference as would turning off the sign ight when the inn closes at noght." (107160088)

    Good restaurant, excellent cooked breakfast, friendly staff

    Shower temperature fluctuates wildly Flies in room Spotlight for sign shining at top of window meant we couldn't get any ventilation as the light was attracting masses of flying bugs to outside the window.

    Excellent room and decor, smashing food, really friendly and helpful staff and exceptional value for what we paid - if you're looking to explore this lovely part of the UK, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    None - although the slope from the car park is tricky with a pushchair.

    Restuarant was lovely. Very good value for money. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Beautiful area of the country.

    We kept trying to telephone the hotel on the evening we were arriving, we tried for 3 hours before the phone was answered. The shower was terrible.

    excellent location. room quiet even though by a busy road. breakfast freshly cooked to order. nothing was too much trouble.

    there are many steps down to entrance on arrival, but once we had the room key much easier access was made available. The room could have been serviced better.

    We enjoyed the friendly welcome and an excellent stay in countryside surroundings. Filling brekfasts and good choice of evening meals.

    Long way from home, cannot call it our local.

    "Very good food with good choices for reasonably priced evening meals, obviously well used by local clientele. Although more remote than expected it is in an ideal area to visit the 'old' town of Bridgnorth (up on the hill with one access road), Severn Valley Railway and also not too far from West Midland Safari Park. Adequate rooms but still to be recommended, especially at only £50 B&B for two!" (97596715)

    Good location for area. Very good choice of food and reasonably priced. Good service.

    Room radiator not working but supplied electric radiator was adequate. Small en suite unheated. Pub conservatory used for breakfast was unheated - apart from small fan heater.

    "Overall our stay at the Swan was very enjoyable and a welcome winter break...the location is excellent and the view of the river very picturesque. The staff were very helpful and friendly..the food delicious and the the traditional style of the place very relaxing. Cleanliness was of a very high standard..a proper home from home! We look forward to a return visit in the summer and have passed on brochures to friends and family" (97491320)

    Acommodation was very clean and tidy..to a high standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful....the food was also of a very high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be passing on our recommendations to friends and family !

    The only downside was the dreadful rainy weather but even that didn't spoil our break...the only problem we had was with the toilet which wouldn't flush properly but we forgot to mention that when we left

    The accommodation was clean, bright and airy. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated and very attractive. We didn't eat at the restaurant as we had already made other plans but the breakfast was fine.
