    "I am glad that I decided to stay at Express By Holiday Inn John Lennon Airport and would stay there again." (108791791)

    When I could not switch on the lights (the room key was too thin apparently), staff at reception took care of it in a matter of seconds. Staff are polite and breakfast is good.

    I shut the window when I went to bed and in the morning I couldn't open it - it got stuck. I did not request assistance as I was leaving that morning but am very convinced that that would be taken care of quickly too.

    Although basic, all facilities are on site. It was clean, friendly and good value for money.

    Had problem with basin plughole, and no maintainence men were available at weekend.

    Extremely friendly and helpful staff very willing to offer assistance.

    Room was on the small side for 3 adults with large suitcases and very little spare space to store them without falling over them.

    Room carpets were looking a little tired. Shelf in bathroom was missing - only one support bracket survived. Breakfast is solely a cereals & 'cakes' bar - no 'full English.'

    Modern hotel ideal for an overnight airport stay.

    Taxi back from central Liverpool is expensive as busses stop at midnight back to hotel. Expect to pay around £20 back to hotel from city centre.

    only one checking out i was charged another £65 which i thought ihad paid over the internet got a e-mail confirming booking and 2 nights £123 yet still charged another £65 tried to explainbut paid anyway

    The stay was very enjoyable with only a few minor reservations. the staff were helpful and friendly.

    Great hotel like style of room, facilities in room and staff Drop down at airport by hotel vehicle

    My booking was incorrect on the computer at hotel check in and had been put in for next day so I was fortunate hotel was not full.(though correct on internet booking receipt I had from making the booking) Food is poor and not appetising but trapped by hotel location for competitive alternatives Not sure how to organise booking of a pick up from airport by hotel vehicle

    "As I booked online through an agent I was required to give my card details which I presumed meant I'd paid for the room, on arrival at the hotel the man on the check in desk told me I had to pay and when I explained I thought I already had he just kept saying that they don't take internet payments, like this was something I should have known, and he was laughing in a patronising way when he dealt with me. We were also allocated a smoking room which since we don't smoke, wasn't very nice. In all, I thought the hotel was nice, over priced but I suppose thats to be expected when near an airport, but the staff member I dealt should not be let near customers as he has no patience. I wouldn't stay there again, I rather pay extra in a taxi and stay in a Travel Lodge." (108030570)

    "The hotel was easily accessible from the centre of Liverpool, just one 30-40 minute bus ride away from the middle of the city. The rooms were a good size, well equipped and extremely clean. It was very easy to make yourself at home there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the food was all very good quality. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay here." (97998588)

    very good place to stay.... would recommend

    kettle in the room didn't heat up as well as it should but besides that it was great value for money. don't go anywhere else!!!

    Clean. Breakfast available at 5 a.m. Morning staff very helpful & friendly

    Told on checkin that hotel minibus not operating next morning. Ordered a bar meal - person taking order disinterested. Meal awful & overpriced. Chef seemed confused.

    friendly staff, clean room and especially a clean bathroom. decent breakfast. all up, value for money

    I stayed in room 520 at the airport hotel site in liverpool and found that a light breeze outside had an unbelievably noisy effect in ceiling void at the area around my room. having mentioned this to staff the next morning, i found that they could not understand what i meant. maybe someone should investigate this further as sleeping was quite difficult
