    a superb location with helpful staff and reasonable food at reasonable prices

    The hotel is trying to be to many things at once ie youth hostel,hotel,shop,restaurant.

    Location, Bar, Breakfast

    The bed was dangerously bad - could lead to permanent back damage and law suit. We slept on the floor.

    Clean, quiet, simple in a good location.

    Confusing parking payment/refund on arrival - pre-check in.

    Good regarding late check in

    All staff had poor telephone manner. We left our son's pillow and pillow case behind - clearly not part of the hotel equipment. Rang up later that day when we realised. Pillow 'not found'. Have they not bothered to look or has it been appropriated? Nobody has bothered to ring me back since.

    "Disappointing. It has such a lovely location, and generally good facilities but the room was a big let down." (108015195)

    The bar waiter was friendly and helpful. The meal we had in the bar was good.

    The room was far too hot, noisy and very small. The bathroom was dark and the shower unappealing. The breakfast was inedible and cold.

    was able to take my dog

    when I booked the break with active holidays I was under the inpression I had payed with my credit card on the phone, before I arrived at the hotel. It was only on check out, when they asked for payment I found out that I had not paid, fortunatly, I had enought monies on me and my husband had brought is switch card.

    CLEAN, GOOD SIZED ROOM.SHOWER & BATH. When tv remote wouldn't work allowed us to change rooms. Hot chocolate provided as well as tea & coffee.

    As we had to leave by 6.45 to catch the ferry to Ireland we were not provided with any thing for breakfast eventhough we had paid paid for a full breakfast!o

    Location. Size of room. Inclusive breakfast. Free parking. Reasonable bar prices.

    Thin walls - neighbour had dog, which woke me up at 1am, 3am and 4am. No phone in room. Missing TV remote control. No BBC2 TV reception.

    "The hotel was in a perefect loctation for travelling to snowdon and other tourist attractions. Good size rooms with clean working facilities. Pub meal could have done with being hotter when it arrived at tables." (97847023)

    The size of the bedroom and bathroom were very good, you didn't find yourself bumping into things or each other.

    The evening meal we had in the pub was good, but the temperature could have been hotter it was only warm when it reached our table

    Has a lot of potential,needs some refurb work though.

    reminded me of Fawlty Towers, the staff were amixed bunch and the waitress a bit of an 'air-head'. Systems need to be in place to manange the breakfasts. The cleanliness of the glasses and cutlery etc was poor. Carpets need shampooing,esp on the stairs/landing

    "The swallow falls hotel is well located, near the mountains, opposite the famous swallow falls and a mile or so from Betws-y-Coed. The staff were grear, the food was very good, and facilaties for children were good, I would certainly atay again.." (97980135)

    Great location,freindly staff, good food ,nice room and ample parking
