    friendly and helpful staff always available. well organized and managed accommodation. very good restaurant excellent balanced menu

    "A trouble free luxury overnight stay. With reference to "..book on line again.", I would in future book directly with the hotel. " (107919817)

    Every aspect of our stay was excellewnt. Even after a hiccup with the booking through a third party organisation, the hotel direct apologised and immediately upgraded our room.

    None at hotel or elsewhere on the estate.

    Very helpful and professional staff. Excellent gym and spa facilities. Richmond Arms Restaurant served excellent food!

    Some of the equipment in the rooms (TV, shower head) a bit outdated.

    EXCELLENT VENUE AND FACILITIES.ATTENTIVE STAFF.

    RESTAURANT FOOD SHOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER CONSIDERING THE COST.HAVE STAYED PREVIOUSLY WHEN OWNED BY MARRIOTT,MUCH BETTER CHEF!

    The hotel kindly allowed us to check in early as we were going to some friends' lunchtime celebration; this enabled us to change etc after a 5 hour journey from Sheffield. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

    A few minor errors at breakfast time; nothing significant, but we seemed to be served by several members of staff, which caused misunderstandings. We were slightly disturbed by guests arriving late in an adjacent room - we could hear their moving about and closing cupboard doors, etc.

    "Cant wait to come back would like to stay longer and make more use of the facilities. The blokes were delighted with the golf and us girls just had a nice lazy day enjoying the weather. " (97839080)

    THe whole weekend was fab, the food was lovely, surroundings stunning and we won at the races. The front reception staff we so friendly and accommodating.

    The staff were sometimes a little slow in serving in both the grill and rest.

    It was nice and clean and had a fantastic big bed. There was no noise in the evening so we had a good night sleep. The staff were tentative and very pleasant. The swimming area was excellent and the facilities in there were nice and clean. a pleasant experience all round

    It would have been nice to have more choice on the menu and the bar area got full quite quickly and was only small. Also it would have been nice to relax somewhere where there was adults only, with having a weekend off from the kids it would have been nice to go into a bar where there were no children running about.

    Well equipped hotel, good location, very clean and tidy!

    check out took 20mins and nobody told me my taxi which was orderd by the hotel staff was waiting outside for nearly 30mins!!!
