    the kitchen staff wore the same clothes during my stay the water was used to wash all plates and cups and did not get washed only rinsed and dryed. The food was not good and the bacon on the last day was not in date or a very cheap a number of people commented on this Also a number of people share a bathroom and there is no cleaning materials in the bathrooms.

    The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was quirky and cheap, good value for money, it served its purpose, the bathroom and toilets were clean...

    ... BUT our room came complete with bedbugs!! Apparently not in the other 3 rooms where other members of my family were staying. I intercepted 3 in the bed the first night but have been itching on neck, arms, legs ever since. It's very unpleasant.Otherwise, apart from shabby curtains, the hotel was fine.

    Emplacement Disponibilité et gentillesse du personnel

    Il fait chaud voir très chaud dans les chambres. Les chambres sont parfois petites. Très bruyant quand on donne sur la rue (Gower Street)

    The place looks scruffy. The bedroom was claustrophically small; I'm not a big guy, but I could touch opposite walls without stretching. I wasn't amde aware that the bedroom wasn't en-suiteand I'd be sharing a toilet and shower with everyone else in the hotel

    toilets dirty, shower heads corroded, toilet facilitys for each floor was poor.room was filthy,curtains moth eaten and hanging off the rail ,wash hand basin was dirty, wardrobe interier was filthy, also window sills. bed had crawly insects on so we got up at 4 in the morning and just sat on chair till it was time to go for breakfast,breakfast was not nice, glasses stuck to table cloth. cups in bedroom were left dirty, carpet in room dirty.

    Only good point was booking.All other points were really bad.

    Honestly it was the worst hotel I stayes in my wholelife.I was shocked to find a hotel like this in central London.There was disgusting smell as we entered the hotel.The condition of toilets and rooms was really bad.I donot know how this hotel is still functioning.Soory to say this but this was true.As my wife had exam next morning I had to stay otherwise I would have not even for single night.

    "I contacted the hotel to confirm booking and where the best place was to park, they named a few car parks around but then added that it would be ok for us to park the car on main road a bit futher up from the hotel from Friday night till sunday. We found that the car was missing saturday night. It had been towed away! in a car pound! We had to stay another night in the hotel until Monday as I had to produce insurance documents on my company vehicle. I forgot to mention when we arrived I double checked that it was ok for us to park on the road again and the hotel supervisor confirmed that our car would be ok till sunday afternoon when we was due to drive back home to manchester. All in all from this misleading information, We got a £300 fine for being towed away, £130 it cost the couple to get back to manchester on the train to get back for their children. and an extra £45 for us to stay another night in the hotel (They did discount) but I would of thought they could of at least spared us the cost of the room for the night. We incurred other costs of actually catching the train to the car pound! Unecessary stress! I wouldn't of minded but we was prepared to pay on a car park as that is what I had expected, but to have been told we was ok on that road and not being from the area and the hotel people holding a business there you trust that they know best! obvioulsy not! and when confronted they play dumb and very sympathetic.     "The hotel is not so bad if you have a stop over for a night or so.. very calm and peaceful. But the space is not enough for a big family. If you are planning to stay out all day and visit places and come back only for the night, then you can opt for this hotel." (107960405)

    - the hotel and the room was clean and tidy. - Hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful.

    - The double bed was smaller than a single bed for one person - There was a common bathroom for one floor which was located after a series of stairs; not very convenient. - The room was almost a bed space only.

    absolutely no good points - the hotel was a shitty hovel that I would not allow any animal to stay in. THOROUGLY DISGUSTING - NO WORDS CAN I TYPE IN PUBLIC - CURTAINS WERE BLACK AND DIRTY AND HANGING OFF RAILS, CARPETS, FILTHY, IN FACT EVERYTHING WAS EXTREMELY FILTHY.

    CANT EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW DISGUSTING THIS HOTEL WAS - COULDNT WAIT TO GET OUT.

    Location - well placed for tube. Plenty of restaurants etc around.

    Very busy, noisy main road. The rooms have been partitioned from one large one with thin plasterboard walls. No explanation of the hotel facilities was provided on arrival.

    The staff were always with a smile trying to help as much as they could.

    -Dirty toilets -Filtfy curtains and floors -The sink at one of the rooms was full to the top suddenly. It seems that dirty water came from another room. -It was not a clear explanation about the facilities as for example toilets are outside the rooms. -There are no baths

    Shared bathroom! very noisy as on main road. In winter, or if two staying in (very small)double room bedding would have been inadequate as double duvet did not stretch from one side of the bed to the other! Solo female traveller and inadequate lock on bedroom door.

    breakfast was adequate.

    Small, cramped room; - not even a bedside table provided. Basin made gurgling noises throught the night. Room run down and dirty. Shower room / WC run down and dirty; mould on shower unit. Room on main road, with ill-fitting window meant that the room was very noisy - all night traffic / police sirens etc. meant that we got very little sleep.

    "I booked this hotel the same day of my arrival since all the others were full for internet booking. The double room was very small (probably less than 8 sqm) and it has not seen any refurbishment in years. There were only 3 bathrooms for 27 rooms and normally you have to wait 15-20 minutes to find it free in the evenings and 30 minutes in the mornings. All the bathrooms were dirty all the day. The fares are too high (close to a steal) and they seem to vary according to the guest who's paying: the first night I pay 60 pound and the Japanese couple who arrived before me pay 78 pounds, the next day I pay 85 pounds, other guests told me other fares, why? I spoke with an American guest who was there two years ago and he told me that the prices were more or less 30-35 pounds for the same rooms and he wanted too to escape as soon as possible. I tried to leave the hotel before my planned leaving but they ask me a cancellation fee of 25 pounds and it wasn't worth to do it. In the same road there are at least other 5 or 6 hotels with lower fares, so check for them and AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS FILTY HOTEL" (97439828)

    The breakfast was fast and efficiently served.

    The room was incredibly noisy. It was very hot weather, and with no fans provided or air conditioning, it was essential to have the window wide open, but the very loud traffic noise made sleeping impossible. The bed was also too small for two people (despite being advertised as a double) and the room had clearly not been cleaned (we found an open, half-finished wine bottle in plain sight on the floor). The bathroom facilities are also totally inadequate for the number of rooms.

    Not much good points to make, other than the location being good.

    Room was tiny, light was blocked by wardrobe in-front of the window, drawer and wardrobe were broken, bed was tiny - supposed to be a double room, and I can't believe we were charged 75 pounds for the hole we had to stay in. It was barely a single room. No space, very uncomfortable for two people. Rather noisy too as walls are very thin. Window wouldn't close properly. There was no safe to lock away valubles, and the lock on the inside of the door was broken, which was quite worrying when it came to sleeping. We had to put a chair infront of the door, as we didn't feel safe as two young women staying alone together in a hotel not only run by men, but with two male guests staying in the room near ours.

    Hotel is well located to the centre of London and all tourist attractions.

    When booked I was told it was an en-suite room but when arrived it was not and had to share bathroom facilities. The room was extremly basic and quite mucky - also the sink in our room constantly chucked up dirty and smelly water from other rooms/bathrooms. When we made the complaint nothing was done about it or any apologies!
