    The radiator heating in the first room allocated was not working. In mid October that is not good at all.

    Close to the location of our visit. Easy to find with ample parking. Nice, friendly bar and bar staff and locals. Good selection of local and national beers. Large room and bathroom with full ensuite facilities. Very good breakfast, a proper English fry up 10/10, and once again very friendly service.

    No restaurant or food available on Sunday nights. The double bed was a little too small.

    Room had 2 single beds when I had booked a double.

    "Excellent food in the restaurant- we changed our plans and ate there both nights because we enjoyed dinner so much on the first evening. Decor is plain but perfectly adequate. The sloping floors give the hotel extra character. The staff were friendly and attentive in a relaxed way." (97287714)
