"Breakfast staff where good, location and views very nice. Generally clean.I travel on business and use hotels & B&BS a lot, apart from the few things that was wrong its not the worse place i've stayed. But its not the best, have stayed in better B&Bs for lot less money." (108338463)
Pool Facilities Etc where included in the price.
The carpet in my room was dirty had a big stain soon as you walked into the room, ( in business first impression is every thing) it was also very noisy you could hear and fill every movement and noise of people going up and down the stairs.Also every move and step of the people in the room above.I also felt the bar food was a bit pricey, ( as it was uneatable) the burger and chips i ordered very small amount of chips and the burger was so burnt on the bottom side you could draw a picture with it. I did complain about it at the time and was offered a free drink but still had to pay for the meal i did not eat, i was asked if i wanted something else but i had no confidence in the kitchen. I left the hotel and went to the local fish bar, The only saving grace was the breakfast was good.

"Room was good size.Tea & coffee was available in room which was a big asset.A Breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was good.There are a number of national trust properties fairly close and Pensworth nature reserve which we enjoyed visiting.Good sized car park." (108753042)

ample parking,clean,very helpfull staff.
chef/cook smoking in car park. no swimming or gym for room only. hard to find from the A47.

"Overall a comfortable hotel and a comfy overnight stay. When that way again would probably rebook." (107845121)
Very large room that was more than adequate for couple with granchild.Food in restaurant was very good with a large choice; children’s menu though small was excellent value. Lots of tea and coffee.
Bathroom was adequate but needs grouting cleaned. Would have liked a packet of biscuits with tea and coffee in room. Breakfast cereal choice was poor so too was the cooked breakfast choices.

Very friendly hotel good overall stay.
Because of the hot weather needed air - conditioning.Also sound proofing between floors very poor also not helped by a wedding party finishing late but you cant help that.

Efficient and courteous check in, comfortable room, good bar food.
A wardrobe would make the rooms more homely.

No WiFi in the rooms, only availble in the "lounge" area - basically a range of seats in a corridor. General Decoration Pretty Poor. No Atmosphere. Finding your Room is a Mission due to Strange Layout.
