    "Excellent food! Beautiful facility and the staff was phenomenal! This accomodation is definitely off the beaten trail in a quaint little town, but well worth the extra effort to stay there. This was truly a hidden treasure." (108046196)

    clean, cosy and comfortable. friendly proprietors and excellent breakfast. plenty of shower gel/shampoo as well as tea,coffee and milk in cabin overall great value for money.

    "I would highly recommend staying here, especially for short breaks. We came down for a friend's wedding and saw some of the other places our friends were staying at for a higher price. The Blue Pigeons was a bargain!! One of the most important things to us was how nice Mark was, welcoming us late into the eveing to check in, yet being up early to sort out a great breakfast for us. Excellent hospitality, thank you! Hope the event on Saturday went well, Mark." (97286441)

    The landlord/Manager was extremely helpful, and very welcoming. The room was everything we were looking for and the breakfast was fantastic.

    We should have stayed one more night and seen more of the area!

    "Wonderful place to stay with very friendly and accommodating staff. Would definatley stay there again and recommend to friends who may be travelling around that area." (97404590)

    Wonderful friendly staff (and locals). Good food that was very good value for money. We had an early start one morning and was left a selection of cereals, a jug of juice and a bowl of fresh fruit and told to help ourselves from anything else we needed from the kitchen!

    Good location, friendly staff, good food

    Decor badly in need of updating. Ensuite's need a good scrub.(we saw 2 different ones due to having to change rooms because heating was not working in the first one).

    Good food. Clean and comfortable. Quiet if require relaxation.

    Room a little small. Bathroom not to good. Tele on wall in a dangerous position, banged head.

    Clean, well maintained chalis-room, conveniently placed for planned site-seeing. Well sited in an interesting village. Good value for money.

    Just one - there was a fluorescent light bulb missing in the shaving light in the bathroom, as a result I was not able to use my electric shaver.

    Really good hospitality and the children loved the bouncy castel and park, the food was also fantastic.

    There were no real bad points but you can see that the accessories ie bathroom has been done cheaply, also you could tell that when the room is cleaned, thorough is not on the agenda as when I moved the bedside table, the site was rather gruesome, there was also some strange looking gue around the shower and the toilet needed a good scrub, all little things that would make a great deal of difference!
