    nice easy two night break which is exactly what we were after.

    double bed was just two singles pushed together, and duvet was too heavy and warm.

    wouldnt really say it was 4 star or boutique hotel...room service took an hour and ten minutes and drinks were wrong when arrived but still charged £6 on check out.

    room was spacious, decor was also pleasant. staff very genuine, well trained and helpful. having reading material available in the rooms also a nice touch. maybe a daily paper would also add a little extra

    couldn't pick up wireless in my room.

    Well positioned hotel, well appointed rooms.

    Booking on-line we were led to believe that only 2 rooms were available for the night we wanted to book, one standard price and one which was much more expensive.We needed to be there so booked anyway. On arrival I asked if two standard rooms were now available and was told that they were not. The hotel was almost empty - we did not see any other guest in the whole time we were there. When we wanted to check out at 8.00am the following morning, the reception area was in darkness, a (permanent) sign said that it did not open until 9.00am but this was not pointed out to us when we checked in. We rang the bell several times over a period of 5 minutes and eventually the chef came. However, he was unable to check us out. I left a business card and note to the receptionist asking that copies of the bills be sent to me by post - almost a week later I have still not received this.

    The Hotel is open a year, although you would think it had opened yesterday. The cleaniness is to a high standard, the carpets are fresh and the walls are clean, even the lift impressed me. There is a freah and homely feel about the place. In fact the ownwers son (Who was about 5 years old) infomred us that the staff had finished in the bar although they would be back later, i thought this was brilliant and for a 5 year old to have an understanding of the hotel i would say that this gives the hotel an exellent furture. The room was massive (Exective Room)and had everything that you need tv, dvd player, tea and coffee, bathroom, safe, iron and ironing board and many more. The breakfast was also exellent, we were served by a very pleasent and friendly lady, the dining room was big and bright. The lady also brought us warm toast, which now a days does not happen as you have to get it yourself so this was a bonus. Again we had everything that we needed

    Honestly, I couldnt find any, and as a Hotel Manager, i am usually very good at spotting them.

    As per the comment card we left - the hotel was very clean, the room was a delight and the staff were very attentive and remembered the smallest details (i.e. getting the high chair ready for breakfast before we even entered the room!)

    Only downside is no parking.

    Large room. Comfortable bed. View of sea from large, bay-fronted window. New hot tub/ sauna/ steam room.

    Restaurant very poor. First meal unappetising, breakfast no better. Lack of proper changing facilites in the spa area. Toiletries/ tea bags not replaced when used up (we were there for 4 nights).

    "I would recommend this hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and recently upgraded. Its location was good for touring the Antrim Coast. It was within easy walking distance of other bars, restaurants, harbor and shoreline of Portrush." (97373345)

    hotel very clean. staff efficient . facilities fine

    no car park. food good but uninspiring, very little imagination put into it. cooked breakfast poor , poorly presented and greasy. no interaction by management with guests and very little pleasantries from the rest of the staff with the notable exception of the LATVIAN GIRL serving the tables.

    Spa good. Breakfast good. Clean.

    Rooms large but bad use of space. No character. Although family rooms are available at the hotel there are numerous notices which restrict the presence of children in the restaurant and bar after certain times. This discouraged me from eating in the restaurant even though my daughters are 14 and 15 years old. If the aim is to market the hotel as 'boutique' maybe it should also be marketed solely for couples or adults. The cost of the 2 nights stay was too high for the hotel and the lack of private parking was an issue especially as we arrived on Bank Holiday Monday when the town was very busy.

    The central location of the hotel was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was of a high standard. The Spa is a must!

    Everything from the pleasent staff, good breakfast, nice clean and comfortable rooms and generally the hotel itself was very clean and staff were helpful and pleasent
