    The location and value were very good. the room had excellent facilities

    Comfortable bed, remarkably quiet ( had a rear facing room) so I slept well. Room was a good size, better than the hutches one often gets at this price in London. Able to control the heating & open the window so I didn't boil/suffocate as usual in London hotels. Great shower, piping hot water. I didn't use the kitchenette facilities, but was nice to have. I thought this was (at the discounted price I paid) superb value for London.

    Carpet was grubby (beige carpets never the best idea) and room smelled strongly of smoke on entry (despite being "non-smoking" - though opening the window cleared this fairly well. Bit more info on the check in/ key getting facility would be useful - I missed this on the initial booking page

    Impressive modern implements. Clean and airy rooms, if you are lucky to be allocated a sizeable one, and all in a strategic location with easy access to transportation, shops and restaurants of every kind. Friendly and most helpful cleaning staff.

    While the privacy is appreciated, there is no access to any staff after cleaning hours. There is no reception ecxept the letting agents' office. There are no rules giuding the behaviour of tenants who could be quite noisy and unruly. 2nd floor rooms are far too tedeious to climb. Flat rate room size allocation is luck of the draw. One very friendly receptionist and the other, not at all helpful or friendly. No inventory taken. Can encourage pilfering.

    Clean well equipped,nice furnishings good kitchenette and equipmt regular room service

    Noisy above main street. 3rd floor quite an effort for mature folk ie luggage etc. Bath towels more like hand towels, TV small.Space in room small so no place to chill out for an hour or two without sitting on the bed.

    "If the room had met the description on the internet site, I would have been pleased. it was okay as we only needed a bed, however as we travel on business, we expect an "apartment" to have an area to work comfortably - which this room didn't have. " (108687641)

    Handy for events we were attending and close to tube, cost effective way to stay for a few nights, if you are looking for something simple. Great if all you want is a bed and a place to leave your bags. Rooms seemed very secure. Friendly staff at the office where you have to collect the keys. Lots of cafes and bars nearby.

    the "apartment" was a room, with a small standalone kitchen set into an alcove. Not what was expected, given the photos and description on the internet site. The room smelt of damp, we were on the top floor so may have been because of a previous leak.

    Hotel was hard to find-small notice on door told us to go up street to get key. Staff spoke little English. Rang next day to say we had left jeans in room-our daughter could collect them if found-still waiting for reply.

    "We were in London to go to a concert and just needed somewhere to sleep so picked a budget option. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was; not that it was the height of luxury but it was definitely comfortable." (107507207)

    The room was clean and smart; everything worked well; the area was nice with several pleasant looking cafes and shops.

    The check-in guy (who was randomly 30-odd shops up the street from the hotel!) wasn't particularly smiley. However, he wasn't rude, so not too bad really. There were lots of stairs to climb to get to our room. Not a problem for us but could be for older guests.

    inadequate kitchen utensils (2 small plates, no corkscrew, tin opener or chopping board); no milk for coffee; no conditioner or shower gel in bathroom;loads of fag ends on roof outside window & room smelled of nicotine on second day. Breakfast menu mentioned on website, but where was it? Reception a 5 minute walk away and telephone number given said 'in an emergency'.

    Checking in process was ridiculous as when had got to venue had to walk even further up the road to check in at an estate agents- not good when its raining and you have luggage!!!!

    Large spacious room, quiet, easy to find. Good price at this time of year

    We were right at the top - it was a lot of stairs! Very minimal so-called breakfast. Bathroom sink is awkward and too small

    Clean, recently refurbished, good local area, very easy journey into central London

    Bed uncomfortable, pillows only 1 inch thick, incredibly noisy entrance hall and stairs easily heard from room both late at night and very early morning. Not condusive to a good night's sleep!

    The room was clean and well situated for the tube and Restaurants an ideal place for an overnight stay and the kitchen was a great idea

    The pillows were so so thin the nights sleep could have been better. It was quite noisy as its on the main road but no larger louts!!! As we had 3 people staying in the room you only catered for 2... 2 bowls 2 plates etc.TV channels were rather odd no BBC or ITV why do hotels always put on the sports channels
