Wonderful location. Excellent check-in - prompt, polite, informative, pleasant. Lovely room, good temperature, comfortable bed, luxurious bath toiletries.
Food service in the bar was poor. Although the waitress was a lovely girl, we had to ask to be served after waiting 10 minutes. The food was adequate. The first 2 selections turned out to be unavailable. When the main courses arrived, the bread which was served with the caesar salad had been cut with a knife which had previously been used (there was butter on the "unbuttered" bread). We decided not to have any other meals in the hotel as a consequence.

Was very loud music from outside that kept us awake until 4am. The room was not sound proof at all

Clean, smart, huge bed
Poor service at breakfast, room was very noisy, woken during the night, all despite asking for a quiet room. Not qhat you'd expect paying so much for the room and breakfast.

Exceptional decor-even if you're not a beatles fan the hotel is very well presented - The restaurant 'Blakes' is excellent, the food is delicious. It is perfectly located near shopping area and a very short walk to Albert Docks. The concierge were incredibly helpful and recommended a fantatstic restaurant for Saturday night, which they then phoned and booked a table for us.

Booking process - required a twin room to enable two males to be accomodated. Hotel called me stating if I wanted a twin room I would have to pay an extra

Room was large, well-equipped, quiet and clean. Staff very helpful. Meal in brasserie was extremely nice.

Fantastic hotel, decoratively and location and the theme was not over-bearing. Did not try the restaurant, though bar was buzzing, especially early evening.
