  Excellent host, warm and friendly. Great food, lovely dining room. Comfortable lounge with sea view. Good and clean facilities in our twin room and shower room. Beds made and room cleaned daily. Up to date TV in room with coffee, tea, milk and sugar replenished each day. Not really a bad point but the twin room was just a tad small. Couldn't take the alternative as my Mom couldn't use the stairs to often with her slight dissability and I would have liked a harder pillow but that is personal, after all.

  "the hotel is very close to the main street in paignton , and the cinema , and restaurants , it overlooks the sea front , the hotel is very clean , and is a non smoking hotel . " (108104616)

  "enjoyed our stay, room was ok, not brilliant, but the view was worth all the stairs" (107338230)

  stairs were steep, carrying bags up was a problem

  the landlady let us have are room an hour early

  my bad points were dirty towels hung up behind the bathroom door,dusty shelf,under toilet lid not clean

  The owner was very welcoming. Breakfast delicious

  The room was lacking in tea & coffee making facilities. We didnt get clean towels or tea making facilities replenished after our 1st night.

  "Lovely clean Hotel, warm welcome and good food. What more could you ask for? Very relaxing time." (107503201)

  Host and Hostess couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent. Hotel was spotless. Right on the seafront and beautiful view of the bay.

  Can't think of any except if you had walking difficulies the dining room/bar was down a quite steep stairway.

  "the helpfulness and professional way the staff made us so welcome is commendable,nothing was too much trouble,they gave us advice on some lovely places to see,we would book again" (107601459)

  the room and the facilities were great,where the hotel is situated makes it easy on foot for walking and encourages you to venture out

  The hotel was warm - bed comfortable and clean. The breakfast was od.

  Rooms still smelt of smoke, very old fashioned, in need of a face lift urgently.

  Owners are very friendly and accomodating

  only one bad point - you would have to provide own travel cot if needed
