    "We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and as a "country house hotel" it lived up to expectations. We did not fish in the river, but many guests seem to find this an enjoyable experience." (107473780)

    Excellent location (even with a narrow lane for access), great views, friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious (described as a "larger room"). and the decor the best we have seen for a long while. Nice walks around hotel. Food very good.

    Some rooms we looked in were rather small. Very busy at weekend, and some of the younger waiting staff were not so well trained (not a very important point, but the food was not cheap, so expectations high); overall rather pricey.

    Great View and gardens Good breakfast Quiet Great plave to relax Staff very friendly

    Only bad point was the shower which would change temprature.

    one of the nicest hotel we ever been to. Not only have we very much enjoyed the hotel, we really appreciated walks in the garden. The staff is extremelly friendly and attentionate. Nice memories for the whole family.

    Lovely run Hotel with people who really care about your stay. My room was quaint and excellent value. Food was excellent and the open fire was just what I and my girlfirend needed to relax away from the children.

    Location and grounds, it was peaceful.

    Dining room staff not trained, forgot breakfast order, did not top up wine, Kettle in room has to stand on floor due to position of plugs. Food and wine expensive in relation to quality and quantity
