  no tea coffee facilities in the room. need extra pillows when there is 3 or more as some people like 2 pillows to sleep with.

  informed hotel was within walking distance of sheffield arena, but oviously it wasnt, reception staff kindly booked a curtcy taxi to and from the event. much appreciated thankyou.

  only one bar staff in the evening who said he was filling in for someone else, waited a long time to be served, then he couldnt find the drinks we wanted.

  "Over all excellent. We had a comfortable welcoming experience. Thank you. We would stay again and would recommend to others. And the south yorkshire police where very helpful, they kindly stopped and offered us a lift to the hotel,which was well appreciated because we where a little lost." (107904937)

  staff where extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The room was tastefully decorated and very pleasant on the eye. It was clean comfortable, bed linens and towels where very nice. Overall we had a lovely experience and would happily book again.

  The towel rail was on a timer, so towels didn't dry adequately. We found breakfast sittings rather confusing, maybe due to staff shortage or disorganisation at breakfast. However the food was excellent. Things to highlight are lack of crockery and delays serving coffee. Maybe would benefit from clientel been able to help themselves to beverages.

  "A pleasant comfortable chilled time" (107944029)

  Comfortable stay close enough to the arena as that was the purpose of the visit. Staff happy, friendly with pleasant smiles willing to help which in this day an age some people seem to find it difficult to do and a friendly smile always makes such a difference.

  no bad points the only problem we came across was trying to get back from the concert taxis hard to find and get, had an experience getting back hence tried to walk it and got lost. otherwise no bad points.

  "I would not hesitate to stay in Aston hotel again, I was very satisfied with the service and the accommodation,the staff where very helpful and friendly too" (107332192)

  Very clean and tidy hotel, the staff where very friendly and helpful, the hotel as only been open since May 08 so it is in very good deco,

  The only bad point if you can call it that, was the out look from the room, it looked out on to a disused railway/cutting, but apart from that there were no other bad points.

  "Very pleasant and would be more than happy to stay their again. The Hotel Manager lead by example from the frontline and was very helpful and set the standard for others to follow." (107187160)

  Friendly, helpful and efficiant staff.

  None that I experienced, maybe could of done with another member of staff on the bar. This was probably due to the Oasis concert and alot of people in the bar in the afternoon and had to que for some time as only 1 person serving alot of people. Maybe next time another event is in the area of similar size it would be better for some customers if there was more staff on the bar to cope with the amount of arrivals before 3pm check in that wish to drink.

  staff in restaurant/bar very willing but need someone in charge. staff on front desk very good.

  bedroom cleaning left a lot to be desired, waste bin not emptied, shower not cleaned, glasses not cleaned in bathroom.
