    Staff were really helpful and customer service was better than I have experienced in many hotels. Handled an item of lost property extremely well and returned it to me promptly.

    Attention to detail was lacking, but when problems were pointed out, staff were very quick to resolve as smoothly as possible.

    "It was fabulous! We haven't been to Rotherham in over 25 years and our stay at the Good Night Inn made it a great and positive experience. I'm sure we'll be back one day." (108723198)

    A great location. Our room was fabulous (top floor) with a great view overlooking the eastern side of Rotherham and surrounging hills. Had dinner and breakfast there. Excellent food and services. Great hot shower. Very friendly staff. If we go to Rotherham again, that is where we will stay.

    Only bad point was that the hotel is hard to spot on a busy road. The Good Night Inn part of the sign needs to be much more obvious. We must have driven by there ten times before we finally spotted the sign.

    "Very good, would stay again but perhaps would not book over the internet as we would have preferred a room in the main part of the hotel which was not an option when booking online." (107756035)

    The hotel was very clean and in a good location, staff were friendly and polite there was plenty of parking and the grounds were really pretty and well maintained.

    We stayed in the annex part of the hotel and the doors were heavy and noisy to close (understand as they are fire doors) however perhaps they could be adjusted and the heating was still on and we had to ask for the boiler to be turned off just after midnight.

    "Very poor for a hotel that joined a country-wide modern chain and costs £40 per night, not including the breakfast!" (107625294)

    room, bed and bathroom furbishing generally ok, clean, although very darb (plain) and the staff (very, very few on site at any time) and the check-in/out process were good also.

    The general state and look, type of the building is really poor. It is one of these really old, nearly a little delapidated old properties. The buidling, entrance door and hall to the actual room was old, ugly looking and smelled moist. Very little on staff site, no full breakfast available after 9am. It is very noisy as apparently still to close to the road.

    Room was clean and had plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi worked very well. Very quiet location.

    Only window was through the bathroom. Room was too warm and window couldn't be left opened. Check-in was a little slow as no-body responded to the bell an I had to search for them - there was no indication as to where to look.

    the bed was large

    the shower scolded me and my partner you turned the cold on full the hot on a trickle and we got burned as we couldnt get it to cool down the heating went off at 1am and it was a very cold night and we couldnt get in touch with the staff when we spoke to them next morning they said yes they turn it off the check in too 15 minites as there was no 1 at the front desk and we had to buzz 4 times then ring the contact number to attract a member of staff

    Heating very noisy,rang reception at 11.45pm to ask what the noise was. Heating finally went off at 12.15am then on again at 05.30am. Asked to be put in another room for the 2nd night. Managed to have a better night sleep in main part of hotel not annexe althogh floorboards very loose.

    Receptionist wasvery helpful in resolving my issue regarding my booking.

    Bathroom was tardy. Taps were close to being defunct. Radiator based knocking noise in the night awoke me a couple of times

    We had a recently refurbished, large, clean, warm room with a king-sized bed, clean linen, good TV, tea/coffee making facilty, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and an excellent bathroom with endless hot water - all for £40. The hotel is very well located for Rotherham and Sheffield, close to the M1, with good roads to Meadowhall. It has excellent parking, well lit at night. The staff were efficient, very friendly and helpful.

    The nearby Pub, part of the 2 for 1 chain, served my family 3 good and 3 terrible meals - but it isn't part of the hotel, only attached to it, so we can't fault the hotel on that. No bad points, only good points to report for the hotel.

    "Not much to review. I was at the start of a bout of flu, so did not feel like looking round the bar area, and only saw my room. Good parking available. Obviously recently decorated hotel." (107427060)

    Convenient. Inexpensive. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

    It took a while to get hot water from the shower, but not a serious problem. Banged my head three times, but having read the sign I suppose that was my problem.

    A very well presented hotel both inside and outside. Looks stunning as you arrive into the carpark. Couldn't wait to get in there and wasn't disappointed either. The room was very nice and very clean. The food and service was pleasant and nice quality food. avery nice stay and can@t wait to return, a lovely place......

    No bad points wotsoever and would recommend 2 everybody and anybody. Thankyou for such a pleasant stay......

    Comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

    Tv kept "breaking up" on certain BBC 1&2. Soap dispenser nearly empty. Have to ask for towels for my son, dispite booking him in before hand.

    Reasonably cheap. Adjoining pub is handy for meals. Large free car park is handy.

    The overflow car park at the rear and the one-way system is poorly signposted for the first time visitor. Proximity to Jct 33 is marred by major roadworks at the moment.
