    In the main the staff were friendly and efficient especially the restaurant manager and the breakfast chef on Sunday morning

    The young woman working late in the bar on the Saturday might was rude

    Lovely location, easy reach of city centre. Extremely helpful staff. Option of smoking rooms and areas for smokers--- Great!

    Good value for money, breakfast choice was excellent, room clean nd comfortable. Extra value with having the swimming pool and gym. Good location.

    No Sky sports news channnels on TV.

    very helpful reception staff with good local knowledge, friendly and polite

    there was a damp musty smell as we walked into our room which was coming from the bathroom even though the bathroom was clean. maybe this could be solved with airfreshners. it was a shame as overall the room was lovely. The bar staff were very pleasant but the tables could have done with clearing and wiping a little more promptly. having said this, there was a wedding reception and the staff were understandably busy.

    Nice room Pleasant staff

    Our room was one floor above the disco and there was a wedding on in the Hotel. We did hear some noise although it was minimal.

    "When we arrived, we were allocated a room on the 4th floor, where other rooms were being refurbished. The workmen were loud and we heard a couple of them using bad language. On the Saturday morning, the workmen started work at 8.30am, talking loudly, ladders being dragged across the floors, banging. When we left our room, bad language was again being used. Overall this spoilt our stay. We were not warned about this. We did mention it to the receptionist as we checked out who said she would look into it. Not what we expected for a Hilton Hotel."
