Very good welcome on a horrible night. Breakfast was fresh hot and plentiful. Room was clean , warm and spacious .

"Could have been a lovely stay but the staff needs better communication. Staff should have offered the more appropriate rate without having to be asked. The second night we were moved into a family room as originally requested. Rooms were very, very clean, well appointed and bathrooms sparkled. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and kind. Hotel needs to provide beverage packets for all occumpants. i.e. a single packet of cocoa mix won't do for a family room." (97235322)

Clean, spacious, courteous staff. Manager handled a mini-crisis (my son got sick after dinner) with understanding.

We had booked a family room but were instead given a double with a cot (although not identified as such.) At 6'2" my son is too big for a cot. It broke within minutes of being set up. Only after my request did we receive a reduced rate on the room (to the more appropriate double rate). We were not informed that reserved tables in the restaurant were for hotel guests and so we went to the the bar for dinner. It would have been nice to have been told so we could have dined with the other guests. Staff told us the minigolf required only a deposit for the clubs. The manager, instead, charged a rental fee.

Evening meals was excellent,good value for money.

Evening meal, the meal I had the portions was too large.
