  Nice and clean.

  Bathroom door jammed every time it closed and made a very loud noise when it came unstuck. Radiator in bedroom very loose in its brackets. Only 2 hangers in wardrobe. Shelf in bathroom sloped so much it was difficult to stop things falling off

  Best cooked breakfast for a long time. Rooms were clean & tidy.

  "It was a cold night during a quiet season, just after Christmas, so the place was a bit empty but the friendliness of staff made up for it. " (107840028)

  The staff was extremely helpful and accommodatiing of our rather early dinner time. Food was good.

  "Would happily stay at the hotel again but not in room 2." (107459225)

  Staff very helpful and pleasent. Good hearty breakfast, comfatable bed

  Lack of attention to room facilities. No ventilation to en-suite, extractor fan not working, and water intake to toilet cystern extremely noisy and woke partner in the night, room decoration very tired and dated.

  The staff were excellent, the food was first class. I could not fault the hotel

  "Trying to understand how this has a 4 star rating" (107163840)

  The rooms and cleanliness, however i am surprised this has a 4 star rating

  I was absolutely disgusted at the quality of the breakfast. I stay in hotels all the time for business purposes which are only 3 star so I would have expected "freshly" cooked food to be served at a 4 star
