  "Hotel was ok needs freshing up a bit" (107801036)

  The breakfast chef was a top notch guy very cheery & the food was good. The lady in the pool area was also very good.

  The garden rooms were large enough but the cobwebs hanging from the coving was not great , there was also red wine stains up the plastic door overlooking the garden. one small bottle of shampoo & conditioner is not enough for two people we did order more & it arrived very quickly.The conservatory was closed for some dolls function so we ate out both nights , why do you not host these in the training rooms as they are probably empty at the weekend (like the Caledonian did with Brodie), lost revenue for you i think.

  "Generally very positive and we will come again if we are in a similar transit situation and need a night in Inverness. But I will phone ahead and make sure that the pianist will be playing - that was the main attraction. I will also check that the hotel has not changed management, because I can tell that the present management is excellent. Next time I will book further ahead and hopefully get a less expensive booking. I paid " (107288271)

  Best thing was the pianist in the lounge bar, it made us stay far longer in the evening than we planned, and was a real delight. Also the quality of the gardens, and the mini golf was excellent. General quality of the public areas gave a luxurious and impressive air to our arrival. Staff were all excellent, without any exceptions. Food was unexpectedly high quality, we really enjoyed it. Room and bedding was of a high quality.

  Z-bed provided for my son was extremely squeaky and rather old, hence he did not sleep at all, so of course I didn't either. Therefore we were exhausted the next day, which was a shame because it let down what was otherwise an excellent experience. Also the bedroom was too hot and there was no way (except for a noisy electric fan) of cooling the room. We tried opening the windows but our room was situated next to a noisy boiler or motor of some kind. The pool and spa was nice, especially looking out over the lovely gardens, but rather dated and the showers very shabby, seems like it is due for a refurbishment.

  "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to this hotel." (107243151)

  The staff were without exception very helpful, polite and friendly.

  Internet access was overpriced for both the room and public areas of the hotel.

  "Fair, spoilt by the uncomfortable temp. in key locations. The staff must find it difficult working in some areas." (108071471)

  A Clssic British hotel

  Lack of A/C was a problem. The Bar area and our room were very warm although the outside temp. was not hot. Without the fan in our room we would have probably left.
