  "This was close to the sports venue where I was taking my daughter and as such it was just OK: We had a reasonable night's sleep but I would have done better to have booked a more recognised chain hotel and taken my own milk and breakfast cereals. It was not good value for the £60 paid" (108461844)

  easy to find, good car park, quiet (we were at the rear of rhe hotel) decent shower ensuite

  Overall state of decor was poor - mattresses were of low quality: window fittings, towels, kettle, TV worn and shabby: no bedside light. The breakfast was very basic (choice of 2 cereals, white bread, margarine and cheap jam, DIY instant coffee and teabags.

  "Overall, quite satisfactory. Suitable for our purpose." (108412038)

  Within walking distance of transport and shops. Friendly staff. Satisfactory breakfast. Kettle and drinks in room.

  No towels provided on first night. Duvet cover and bed sheet had cigarette holes. Walls thin, other guests noisy on first night of stay.

  "It was an interesting experience. One wall of our tiny room, which had no furniture was paibnted bright red. However the hotel had aqueezed an ensuite bathroom in, which was fine." (107478426)

  Staff really tried to make us welcome and gave good service within the limits of the hotel.

  There was supposed to be a full english breakfast. This turned out to be weetabix/cornflakes/white bread and marmalade.The dining room was not well stocked.

  "Hotel ist sehr laut durch angrenzente Strasse." (107672845)

  gute Lage (sehr gute Verbindungen zur O2 Arena und in die Londoner Stadtmitte)

  Großzügiges englisches Frühstück gabs überhaupt nicht!!! Das Frühstück war nur ein Häufchen Elend! Auf einem dreckigen Tisch in der Ecke des Zimmers stand eine Packung Cornflakes, ein paar Scheiben Weissbrot und ein Marmeladenglas. Der Pulverkaffee stand in einem Nachbarraum, den man sich selber machen darf! Es waren für alle Gäste nur 3 Tassen vorhanden! Als ich das Personal auf den Misstand aufmerksam machte, sagte man mir nur, dass es sich um ein interkontinentales Frühstück handelt und dass ein englisches einfach zu teuer ist.

  Extremely poor decor everywhere, shabby, room smelt of pipe tobacco despite being "no smoking", smoke alarm covered by a plastic bag. Breakfast poor.

  "The hotel is basic but was spotlessly clean and very good value for money its close to the train station, easy to find, next to McDonalds, Mr. Awais at the reception was great (helpful), comfy bed, rather big parking lot in front and back of the hotel " (107561309)

  "It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I will not be booking another one from your web site. It was noisy at night,and difficult to sleep." (107273605)

  We were given a different room when we asked for one with an en suite. The staff were co-operative.

  Light in room did not work. Kettle did not work. The wardrobe door was falling off and there was no hanging rail. The curtains were not hung properly and a rail was missing. One of the plugs did not work. The fridge did not have the correct shelves in it, so it was difficult to store anything in it. The advertised 'Full English breakfast' was either cornflakes or weetabix with egg and beans on toast. The chest of drawers had a handle missing on it. The room was poorly decorated and the walls were marked. The shower did not have holder for the shower head, so we had to hold it when showering.

  "We did not stay after being shown to the rooms we checked straight out again the hotel is appalling and should not be on your list. Please do not try to charge cancellation fees as the only reason we did not stay is because it was not fit to sleep in and our guys did not want to sleep together." (97542827)

  The hotel was dirty, the rooms were doubles and we asked for twin as it was grown men staying in the rooms together, the beds had plastic covers on them and it was not fit for humans to stay in

  We had to wait 45 mins to check in even though we arrived after the hotel check in time, the hotel was noisy all night, should have stayed in the Ibis down the road, at least there maight have been a toilet in the room! Don't ask reception staff for information we were sent for an hour on the tube to the wrong place when we asked directions, where we wanted to go was only actualy 3 miles from the hotel!

  there weren't any good points

  the room was dirty the sheets on the bed where dirty,no headboard on bed,booked en suite got a shower and sink,shower was disgusting and i didn't use this but there was a wet patch on the floor the walls where disgusting there where bugs flying about curtains not even held up proplery,mouse trap in room,the most two smallest towels ever don't know how was meant to dry myself if did have shower.i couldn't even tell you was what on the walls it didn't look like brown pen

  "Terrible! Dirty,with staff speaking very poor english." (107110666)

  No good points

  The hotel was dirty, room did not have a toilet,or towels, kitchen did not look clean so did not risk breakfast, just ordered tea and toast, I was served cold toast, without butter jam or a knife, so left that also.

  "Didn't feel as secure and comfortable as in other hotels, however staff and fellow guests were very friendly. I wouldn't stay there again, as I like to feel pampered in hotel accommodation." (108067590)

  Friendly atmosphere.

  Room like a student bed sit, bit grotty - cheap and cheerful, ie patched woodchip, painted very roughly. No towels, no phone and curtain didn't cover the window. Fine if you just want a room where you can do a bit of self catering (fridge, microwave, kettle - no cups, coffee/tea making equipment etc). Also, smell of cigarette smoke all night - ill fitting door.
