Good room, good location, good staff.
My car's bumper was damaged when it was "valet parked". Really not impressed with that.

"good standard and location but not really value for money. also when it came to the bill, they wanted to charge us around £35 pounds more than we agreed by internet and the staff didnt know why it happened" (107730736)
fair sized room. comfortable beds. good location once we arrived
terrible directions to hotel. yhou could have warned us how difficult it is to get to you. breakfast not included making the stay on the pricey side.

"Okay, but for £175.00 for one night. It didn't seem value for money. We have had better rooms in areas that warrant a more expensive price, and better service and amenities. In Cambridge The Southampton guest house is a fraction of the cost, yet service there is superb and in reality apart from the decor, the rooms have the same amenities, and breakfast is excellent there and included in cost." Were made welcome, and complimentary drink served as room wasn't ready. Inaccurate bill was recified quickly.
Had to wait until 4pm to check into room, whereas we needed to settle in and organise our afternoon.Check-in time was meant to be 2pm. Inaccurate information from the front desk about payment, and inaccurate bill, which was rectified.

"woudl not advise anyone staying out on a budget" (107823746)
Very overpriced, nothing included. Room service was extortionate and there was not other option as restaurant was "booked up". When I checked out the man at desk tried to make out we had used 5 items from minibar, when I had just had one bottle of water (at £2.50) Parking was £15/night and again I was told there was no other option.

"Really nice, clean, well run hotel. Very comfortable and reasonably priced." (107455163)
Receptionist couldn't locate online booking through Stage Hotels. Took 20 mins to sort it out with in house reservations. Commented that she had never heard of the company and hadn't come across any other bookings from them.

Room was clean and we were able to change rooms when we complained that one smelt of cigarette smoke. Valet parking was efficient.
Tap dripped, bedside lamp didn't work, room was very small and dark. First room had been better, but smelt smokey so we changed. Noisy neighbours (we were woken up by vigorous love-making!), and nearby disco. Breakfast very expensive so we ate out.

Could not get into our room at 15.00 hours - was not ready - disappointing because we needed to change for a wedding. The online booking details said the room would be ready at 14.00 hours.

A very good hotel in most respects.Receptionists very good and helpful.
£15 to park a car is a little naughty. Staff 'waiting' at breakfast could be shown how to smile at customers, which creates a welcome atmosphere, and costs the hotel nothing (I may be being a little 'picky' on this!)

"This was our first visit to Cambridge and sadly will be our last staying in the city. Parking was a total nightmare and we worked out that it would have been much better to have stayed in a hotel outside Cambridge and then travel in by park and ride. We would not recommend Cambridge to any of our friends as a short stay venue as it has totally priced itself out of the market. " (97575472)
Staff were pleasant and helpful Room spacious and facilities good Nice touch to have the magazines to read and the luxuries in the bathroom
The lighting in the room was poor - one light inbetween the beds was totally inadequate if you wanted to read in bed - room too dark - an additional standard lamp would have been better. The website indicated that the hotel was near to the Aracde Car Park, giving the impression it was easy to park - in fact it was NOT. When we arrived the car park was full and we had to spend an age trying to find parking facilities and then walk with our luggage to the hotel. The price also for parking was ridiculous - our main objective during our stay was to drive away from Cambridge each day to stay out of the city as long as we could knowning that when we did return the cost of parking would be far too high. Not something we had bargained for.

polite staff
room was supposed to be non smoking but smelt awful, had to change rooms. Extremely noisy on street until early hours with students shouting and reveling!

Very friendly staff
Carpets require cleaning in the room. General decor needs refreshing, looks tired and slightly grubby.

Midden in het centrum. Prettige ruime kamers, prettige bedden en schoon sanitair. Geen romantisch Engels hotel, eerder een zaken hotel.
Het enige wat er niet goed was, was de klimaat beheersing. Aangezien de ramen niet open kunnen ben je volkomen afhankelijk van de aanwezige airconditioning ofwel verwarming. Het was veel te warm en te droog in de kamer met name s'nachts. Met als gevolg droge mond, dichte neus en slecht slapen.Kan niet als je dit soort bedragen betaalt!!!
