    "Stopped over at this hotel to break our long journey to Scotland. We found the hotel very good in general, conveniently close to the motorway for our stop over. The staff were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was excellent and staff were very helpful. Would recommend this hotel for stop over. " (108496372)

    Nice clean hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. Generous sized room. Excellent breakfast!

    We were in a corridor amongst family rooms, quite noisy with thin walls and crying baby next door. Would suggest couples traveling without children are allocated a quieter room

    The staff were very friendly and helpful even down to loaning us shoe polish on the day of the wedding. The food, service and comfort of the hotel was excellent. We are due to travel to Wick in June and will use the Gables again as a midway stop over.

    Not the fault of the hotel but there was another wedding party the same day. The groom got drunk, flooded the rooms below and spent most of the evening shouting obscenities to his new wife with her returning the same. It was difficult to get any sleep until early hours of the morning. We had a very early start the next day to drive back down to Kent.

    very welcoming, clean, and staff very attentive, all requests were dealt with immediately

    Had problems with the tv but as only there for one night it was not too detrimental to our stay

    Matress protector noisy and hot giving uncomfortable nights sleep. Staff rectified this for our return stay, well done

    "One night stay as a stopover whilst travelling, Check-In took just 30 seconds, very friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable, also very quiet so had a great nights sleep. Excellent breakfast so all up a very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend" (107825488)
