  "Great, when in Derby will stay there. Won't even bother to look elsewhere. Have passed the details to all my friends.Definitely thumbs up." (107360147)

  Well situated for centre, car park across road 30% discount. Staff really friendly. Room really good fanastic bathroom. Hotel has fabulous atmosphere even though mid week and not many residents.

  "Lovely hotel.Shame about the bed.this is the only thing that would stop me staying again although it was also quite noisy on the Friday night.Great breakfast and staff." (107360562)

  This is the second time I have stayed here.On checking in I was given a room that seemed noisy so I went back to reception and after another attempt I was found the room I had stayed in before.The receptionists were excellent and very kind.

  Bed is a bit soft.I have a bad back and need firm mattress.Room was cold on arrival and took a long while to heat up.Also very difficult hotel to find by car due to 1 way system.

  "Loved the hotel and location and bearing despite the few minor gripes would stay again but would maybe be more robust in getting a better price!" (107839332)

  Lovely hotel, nice rooms albeit small, well equiped.

  No breakfast included in price, i paid

  "A venue with amazing potential, but ruined by an unprofessional staff. Final straw was having to endure receptionist defend the bad service. Unfortunately, still one the best of a bad bunch of hotels in Derby." (107611218)

  Lovely building and good location.

  Amateurish and timely check-in by staff. Very brusque service in the restaurant. Appalling service at breakfast time - some guests waiting an hour for a humble cooked breakfast!
