    "The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was massive, plenty of tea and orange juice. " (108113265)

    Overall excellent experience. Some reviews had complained that breakfast was too early, however at weekends breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.30am which was great, most people staying in this part of the UK would want to be up and out early as there is so much too see.

    "There is not much in Newport, in particular a lack of restaurants - the only good looking one was closed on Sunday (the fish bar on main street is good, though). It was an 'okay' stay, but next time we'd rather be in Shrewsbury, for range of eating out possibilities, and access to public transport." (107690877)

    Room and premises were clean. Breakfast was a substantial full English plate, freshly cooked, with juice and coffee/tea.

    Room was quite small, and the 'double' bed somewhat cramped for two persons - would prefer twin beds. Noise of loud music from the bar was intrusive. Breakfast serving times were limited: I do not want to have breakfast before 8am (weekday; 8-9am weekend) while on holiday.

    Extremely friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, bedding and furnishings. Ease of parking on site.

    The staff were very friendly and laid back. The rooms were decorated lovely and very clean.

    The breakfast was a bit too early for us. To be getting up between 7 - 8 on holidays is a bit much!!!!

    Very friendly and efficient staff. Bedroom and shower room very clean and comfortable. Dining room very pleasant.

    Bedroom close to public bar. A little noisy.

    had disable suite,sink too low & small & mirror too low, ok for wheelchair, there is room for a lager sink & mirror in the bathroom would then be dual purpose.

    "Would have been nice to have a cereal option before the fried breakfast, a bowl of fruit and possibly yoghurt for those looking after their figure or dietry requirements.
