    "Number 10 was a lovely surprise and I would happily recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in that area. A wee gem!" (108135203)

    Very friendly and helpful staff - everyone made me feel very welcome even thought it was a very busy day for them. Lovely personal feel to the hotel and the room was very spacious.

    No real bad points although - a reading or bedside lamp would have been nice - breakfast seemed a little expensive at £12.95 so I opted out.

    This is one of the first hotels I have stayed in with power points near the mirror/dressing table - good for getting ready.

    Shower would not run hot for more than a few seconds at a time. Beds very soft

    Very clean, modern rooms. Comfortable bed.

    One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because I was staying alone and they advertised the option of having breakfast delivered to your room. However, after checking in, I was told this would be a problem as there were not enough staff on the next morning. Also, a noisy function and guests drinking through the night left me sleepless!

    Cleanliness was very noticeable in the hotel, from towels to bed linen, dining cloths and cutlery. One of the nicest, most pleasant hotels we have stayed at. The staff were particularly pleasant and we enjoyed the informality of the hotel. A beautiful building set in lovely surroundings. We will most certainly re-book at the same hotel on our return later in the year.

    Just a minor point we would mention would be the mattress being slightly hard, although this in no way affected our stay at the hotel. We feel we may be conscious of this due to the purchase of a foam mattress a year or so ago at home which is wonderful - retains shape, never sags and remains firm but gentle on the joints! Quite expensive outlay but well worth the trouble.

    Room , bathroom, and furniture was good, Breakfast was good as well, although the fruit and vegetarian meal options could be improved.

    "Beautiful hotel which, once the refurb is completed, will encompass two large houses. Finding it was a little tricky as there are no signs - again due to the refurb. Room was huge, as was the bathroom. Although I didn't use the jacuzzi, the power shower was excellent." (107812011)

    Huge room (Rm 39), huge bathroom which included a jacuzzi. Spotlessly clean and well fitted out.

    The other half of the hotel was being refurbished, meaning that I was unable to eat in the hotel. However, the owner recommended an excellent Italian (The Battlefield Rest) about 10mins walk away. Also, the quality of the room and fittings was not reflected in the bed - it was old and saggy and desperately in need of replacement.

    everything about this hotel was amazing - went for valetines day and was as always a little curious as to how nice the room was going to be-absolutely gobsmacked.it is by far the most amazing room i have ever stayed in and i have stayed in some nice hotels.i purposely tried to find something wrong and there simply wasnt anything.staff member was so helpful and accomodating, easy to find, good location, safe street parking,excellent room facilites. excellent value fo money. my partner and i sed to take it in turns to choose whch hotel we stay in when we go p to glasgow as we go very often......from now on we will simply be stopping in no 10 queens drive. BRAVO!!!!
