  "we really enjoyed our stay at Venlaw Castle, it was everything we had hoped for and more, the room was fabulous and so was the bathroom" (107200527)

  room was lovely bathroom was wonderful with extra touch of tea lights round the bath making it extra special

  "Very good" (107192401)

  The overall experience was comfortable and welcoming with a great ambiance. Would go tere again

  With no lift climbing steep stairs to the second floor was a bit wearisome, but I suppose in this kind of old buliding its not possible to inall a lift.

  "Our overnight stay was redeemed by lovely staff and excellent restaurant cuisine. " (107162298)

  Welcoming, courteous & professional staff. Great food.

  Ensuite bedroom very disappointing & not as described on website. Grubby grouting & peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Armchair in need of repair. Media equipment not working fully.

  "Wished we had just gone for a meal, overnight stay was disappointing for the intended birthday treat!" (107161234)

  Food, menu, dining room and dining room staff were outstanding.

  Room was tired and bathroom was very tired and not up to standard expected for a 4 star hotel! Peeling wallpaper, black around sink and bath, damp markings on the roof.

  Stylish and comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent cuisine.

  Limited choice of desserts over four night stay though adequate choice for one or two night stay.
