    goed ontbijtbuffet. goede locatie

    De prijs bij aankomst was eerst veel hoger dan online afgesproken. Daarna ging de prijs omlaag, maar was toch nog 5 pond per kamer hoger. Mochten niet roken op de kamer. Weinig keus in de bar.

    Very helpful staff. Free (and secure) parking a big plus. Breakfast included in price of room also a big plus. Ice machine in lobby very convenient. Appreciate the free local paper.

    Some of the dishes and glasses were not well washed. Scrambled eggs not very appetizing- funny smell and appearance. Bed very uncomfortable- can feel the springs when you lay down. Ended up sleeping on top of the duvet for more padding.

    Parking. Location. Good size room and bathroom. Good staff.

    Hotel needs updating. Large crowd for breakfast and not enough staff to clean tables and keep food topped up. Non glasses or cups available. Entry to car parks was extremely narrow and only small cars could get in.

    Hotel bien place pour faire la ville à pied.

    Nous avions demandé une Familiy room (4 pers ) et le lit d'appoint (sofa bed ) etait tout a fait inpraticable/ impossible pour 2 personnes ce qui fait que l'on a du reserver une 2eme chambre pour la 2eme nuit. à 55 livres et on nous a quand meme facturé la 2eme nuit de la 1 ere chambre à 69 livres (tarif pour une familiy room !!)) pas logique, pas sympa et du coup sejour trop cher (232 euros total!). Chambre sur rue Bruyante. tout cela est domage

    group of men causing chaos on the saturday night untill 5.30am banging on our room doors and shouting and causing trouble all night.

    Good friendly service and when we arrived at 10:00 to drop our case off they allowed us to check into the room. There was a good selection of both hot and cold food and drinks for breakfast. We did not eat there apart from breakfast so cannot comment on other meals. University Road is located about 10 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat along the road. One had an early bird special where the main courses were about 8-9 pounds but between 5:50 and 7:00 you the price you paid was the time you ordered. The hotel is located near the University and there is area around the hotel is a mixture of student flats. houses converted to offices and boarded up properties. The hotel is located about a mile from the city centre and is about a 20 minute walk. The Botanic gardens railway station is less than 10 minutes away and the main railway station about 15 minutes. University Road is located about 10 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat along the road. One had an early bird special where the main courses were about 8-9 pounds but between 5:50 and 7:00 you the price you paid was the time you ordered. There were quite a few negative comments about this hotel when we booked but the standard was up to what you expect from this chain.

    Price and location, reception staff helpful, parking.

    Noise at night, had to go down to reception at 3.30 re continuing noise on corridor, watched dining room staff menber clean a glass with her bare fingers and put the glass back on table for next customer to use. No towel/tissue used to clean the glass.

    Some of the staff were helpful

    My booking had been lost, the check in staff were not helpful and the language barrier resulted in poor communication regarding the problem with my booking and were generally quite unhelpful. My room was far too hot and the radiator wouldn't turn off. The area was particularly noisy and I was woken up several times by noises both within the hotel and out in the street.

    good accommodation,and use of car park. Good breakfast ,well presented, clean and tidy rooms and near to interests.

    noisy people one night, who came in at 1.45am and at 2.30am were still talking very loudly and using the television. We complained by phone to reception, who quetened them down, but it did ruin our nights sleep. Others were disturbed, as we could hear people banging on their walls.

    Very pleasant staff and service.

    There was a bad odour in the main foyet. And also the parking facilities were sub-standard,. We had aparked and then returned to car to go to the cinema to find our car was blocked in by a large van adn teh hotel staff did not know whho owned the van so we had to stay in the hotel.Also the car park lane was extremly narrow.

    Was able to check in at 10am, very grateful as travelled through night and could get some sleep.Was able to keep car in car park until 3pm on day of checkout.

    TV remote control not working,informed reception but not replaced.

    The food was excelent and the staff were helpfull and p;easant.

    The room was very hot and we were unable to open the window to allow any more air in. We had trouble keeping the shower at an acceptable heat.

    Nice walking distance of the city, although still quite quiet at night.

    Rooms fairly basic for the price we paid.
