    Great location near Oxford Street, but not noisy at night

    disappointing breakfast and staff seemed more concerned with getting me to sign as breakfast was not included in our rate and the bill was put on the table before I'd even had a cup of tea! that's why i've rated staff performance as low. Also noone was on the door when we arrived. There is a flight of stairs and it wouldn't be easy for some guests to manage their bags without assistance.

    the room size was good. the location for shaftesbury avenue theatres was also good.

    bathroom amenities very poor. it actually looked as if we had been left the previous occupants dregs of the shower gel. It certainly was not a new bottle. Also the bar staff in the evening after we returned from the theatre were sullen and slow.

    Hotel was nice, room was clean and tidy and comfortable.

    Humming noise from the pipes or boiler all night. We had breakfast delievered to our room which was was nice but not enough of it and my tea was cold.

    Hotel traditionally charming. Staff on reception were polite and helpful/bar staff were equally friendly, making our stay relaxed and stress free. We will certainly be returning, when visiting London. We will probably stay at Jurys in Cardiff when visiting our daughter too. Thankyou!

    breakfast price far too expensive even compared with other hotels in the area plus it was only very average we paid for a full english breakfast when we only had scrambled egg on toast and orange juice for one person in the family

    "The room was very small, three room doors within very small area, there were young children in the next room and we could hear them very clearly even though they were only laughing therefore sound proofing not good.     Nice decor in room - free internet connection good.

    Room too hot due to underfloor heating in bathroom and unable to adjust this. Reported to reception. No storage apart from wardrobe, glad only staying for one night as no where to put anything. Not enough tea coffee etc - had to ask for additional coffee etc as only two sachets of coffee. Excelent reception staff on check out - unfortunately not on check in !

    Hotel was fantastic location, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.early check in. Doormen were all very helpful and friendly.

    hotel put us in smoking room even though we ask for non smoking,desk staff not that helpful,room very very small.

    hotel porters were very polite and helpful hotel was very clean and showers was very nice

    for 182 pound the room wasnt worth that price stayed in the village hotel for less money and much bigger and better value for money staff was not polite to us was quite rude

    Impressive, spacious building in excellent central location near British Museum. Efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable room if a little old fashioned. The hot towel on arrival was a nice touch. Decent (though expensive) breakfast.

    Bathroom decor could do with upgrading. Like too many London hotels, it's fairly expensive if you are on a limited budget (and most of us are!)

    Excellent overall experience, efficient and courteous stff, clean, spacious and comfortable. Room well equipped. Good breakfast. Great location in Bloomsbury very near a tube station.

    Continental breakfact is too expensive, I found the room air conditioning/heating quite difficult to control. A radiator heater would be prefgerable in autumn/winter. A biscuit or two with the tea/coffee in the room would be nice. The radio channels are limited to BBC Radio 1 and 2 - no awareness of large and growing audience for BBC Radio 3 and 4!

    Good clean hotel in central London

    Only the check in was bad. My colleague arrived ahead of me only to find he could not check in as the reservation was not in the system. The reservation and pin number that was on the e-ticket was not accepptable and only the original print was enough to convince the front desk that we had a reservation. It was only as a secondary measure that I brought this with me as your system led me to believe that the booking number and pin was sufficient. My colleauge had to wait an hour for me to arrive and this was at 11pm when we had a busy day both behind and ahead of us. For the above reason I will not use this service again. It's simply not acceptable.

    As above - very professional service, excellent accommodation and attention to detail. Staff were a credit to the hotel. Beautiful interior - we would very happily stay again! Loved it!
