    Very comfy Well placed for NEC

    Our online booking had not made it to the hotel register! Strange prioritisation in room facilities! Shower gell was provided but no soap!

    Beautiful building, room well appointed, new bathroom with large enclosure shower. Excellent Breakfasting room with friendly and helpful staff. Less than 5 minutes from local restaurants and bars by car.

    Clean & tidy

    This is a guest house not a hotel there is no bar or restaurant. It is situated in between the M6 and M42 on a main road so it's very noisy

    had a swimming pool but not in use, the only staff member there was really excellent. Nice breakfast.

    not enough power points in room, it was a re furbished room, but the lay out of the furniture could have been better, rooms small. the wi-fi did not work in the room.No where to sit. TV rabbit ears would not stand up. Shower was dirty and the temperature was temperamental. Every time you moved the whole place creaked very badly ......... You felt like you should not move.

    Bed collapsed, cheap furniture, pool closed, breakfast made of cheap ingrediants & bins not alway emptied.

    very clean, polite friendly staff, good breakfast nice house

    only one chair in room for two people, only one station on tv watchable large indoor ariel that would not work. small table balancing large oldfashioned 24" tv next to bed headboard so had to sit on end of bed to see it. kettle balanced next to tv very near pillow had to unplug light to put kettle on difficult to get to plug as behind table with big tv on. very basic no complimentry soap etc in bathroom first place we have stayed in without these extras and i was not prepaired. noisey traffic from motorway

    Good location for the NEC. Staff were helpful. Good hearty breakfast.

    Booked a twin room with breakfast. They had put us in the annex with a double bed and tried charge us an addittional £10 from the booked price.This was for breakfast as the room had self catering facilities- not what we wanted. Room heating was inadequate. No remote for the TV.Floors had not been hoovered. In the kitchen there was food on work surfaces,cutlery/crockery still on the drainer and dead peas caught in the plug hole. In the bathroom the bin had rubbish in it and there was toothpaste on the sink. Light outside room was broken so unable to see to open door. Outside one window the view was blocked by a large mobile advertising board. Looked like the owners/staff park in front of the annex making it difficult to negotiate in the dark. Difficult to find the place in the dark as poorly lit. Booking process was a worry as they rang up to confirm if we were coming as they obviously had a problem with the booking- but assured me there was no problem.

    Bed very comfortable, staff helpful and friendly.

    No shampoo in shower, shower very weak. Felt like a hostel. TV reception poor.

    Told we could book in from 2pm but no one there, waited about 25mins then housekeeper let us into the room. When eventually checked in there was some muddle over the no. of nights booked

    smallest room i've stayed in for over 30 years. room not cleaned in 2 night stay cold hot breakfast
