    "Fine, food and friendly staff made everything worthwhile" (108826720)

    The Inn looked very nice, very nicely situated. The staff was very friendly, the food was very great. Breakfast was fine and the staff was very helpfull. Room was in clean condition.

    Room is quit out dated. Fan on the bathroom made quit a lot of noise. Some strange smell from the bath and sink.

    Good Service, Good Food, Nice Pub

    It is available cheaper through other booking services! We paid about £15 - £20 more for our nights stay than other couples in other rooms!

    Friendly staff, excellent service, fantastic food, good size room (we booked a double and ended up with a double and a twin complete with a private lobby and ensuite bathroom. Amazing!

    Very pleasant location, room and bar. A limited dining menu but food and presentation was of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

    "I find it hard to mark using the marking system, I would rather leave general feedback as above. The marks may seem a bit low, the overall experience was good value for money and the bad points were not major (but could have been). The best things were the staff and the food." (107529841)

    Friendly staff and good breakfast, good value for money. Nicely decorated downstairs. Clean and good quality bed linen.

    Bedrooms needed updating (apart from linen), tired and old furnishings and style. There was a very friendly man who tried his best to find us an iron but it did not work. Confusing policy on dogs needs clarifying. They only had 1 room down as being booked but this was luckily not a problem as they had a room spare.

    Room only had a dormer window,and was very warm.A fan was supplied on request. We were put in a very small room,which was changed on request.

    food was superb, staff helpfull and friendly I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to sample excellent cuisine on a low budget.

    the ensuite had a bulb not working and the general condition of the ensuite could have been improved but on the whole quite satisfactory

    Carpets not very clean in bedroom and some cobwebs / dust on walls and ceilings
