    The room was excellent, very clean and really enjoyable to stay in.

    werent any, there was a slight radiator leak, but this was resolved as soon as i raised it.

    friendly staff, clean hotel, didn't try food so can't comment. easy to find very close to all amenities.

    On checking in, host was brash and unwelcoming. Pretty unhelpful. Couldnt advise where to park as car park was full. On departure, no thankyou.

    giving keys in when out ( although can understand this). not having breakfast in with board, £10 per person is expensive.

    Lovely staff, especially the waitresses at breakfast. Good breakfast, all waitress service. Good location, spacious room/bathroom & comfy bed. Bar stays open until 2am.

    This hotel needs some serious money spending on it, current owners are trying to do what they can & implement some sort of refurbishment, but obviously on a small scale/budget. The result is a hotel that looks good on the outside but is incredibly shabby & dated inside. Our floors corridor must be a Health & Safety nightmare with bunches of coiled wires hanging everywhere, and bare metal struts. The bedroom was fine, new bed & furniture but illfitting old door with huge gap at bottom & no way to lock from inside. Small TV strapped to a shelf on wall, badly tuned & fuzzy, had to keep moving it around just to keep picture/colour. And now we come to the ensuite - Ive never seen a more dated bathroom - stained bathtub, awful violet tiles, brown lino on floor & an extraordinary vanity/basin counter made from brown kitchen worktop. There is a plaque in reception proclaiming 'The Westminster Hotel - The Last Word In Luxury'!! My boyfriend & I collapsed laughing when we saw it.

    staff were good..polite and friendly.

    when we arrived, room was full of bluebottle flies. Staff did come and hoover up the twenty or more dead ones for us on the first day...but more and more appeared over the weekend.
