  Breakfast. Value for money. Climate control made for comfortable night.

  Check in poor. Even though reservation was made for 4 and we had brought a copy of the confirmation, hotel only had reservation for 2. Room was not ready at 6pm. No apology given.

  "Ideal location for access to cinema, retail park, kid friendly restaurants. Freindly staff, lovely pool. Family room poor value for money. Bar meal extremely overpriced, service for bar food very slow." (107725781)

  The breakfast team on Saturday were excellent & efficient. Breakfast was good.The pool facilities were excellent - the children loved the pool, particularly as it wasn't very busy.

  The bar meal on Friday @2.10pm was extremely poor value for money. Service was extremely slow - we waited over 30 minutes for our main courses, with the starters for the children coming out at the same time as the main courses. This stopped us from having any other meals in the hotel, with the exception of breakfast. The room (112)was fairly small for a family room and the sofa bed (for children aged 12 & 10) was very uncomfortable. My elder son cut his foot during the night - I guess on the side of the sofa bed. The mattress was very thin and bowed towards the middle. The step between the sofabed and the other bed wasn't ideal as when my younger son sat on the large chair (next to the writing desk)the chair slipped and he fell off.

  "There is very little to fault this hotel. That said this is the second time I have stayed here within a year and it seems that if the hotel is exceptionally busy-which it invariably tends to be-then service tends to slide. No provision seems to be made for coping with 'rushes', whether for dinner or breakfast. That aside. Overall, an extremely comfortable hotel." (107378136)

  Outstanding room comfort with spotlessly clean bath/shower room and, food in both bar and restaurant was excellent. Great leisure facilities.

  Very slow to get food when ordered as a bar meal. The same tended to be true for breakfast.

  Hotel very clean, warm and welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, nice TV. As a woman staying on my own, I felt safe and comfortable. Would stay again.

  None - it's a bit corporate, geared up for business travel, but then that's what it says on the tin.

  "Excellent overall, not withstanding isolated incidents as described." (107243569)

  Exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful staff team. Outstanding restaurant meal quality. Welcoming and relaxing spa facilities.

  Frosty and officious receptionist. The particular one I was greeted by on arrival could soon lose the hotel business. If I had arrived needing a room on standby this person would have made me change my mind! Breakfast staff unable to cope with a full house, resulting in shortages and chaos!

  excellent room and facilities, staff pleasant and polite.

  no bad points but cot in room was a little small.
