    " It was ok but not as good as i hoped!!!" (108774385)

    I ordered room service and it took 2 hours and still didn't come. The duty manager very kindly gave me a complimentary sandwich. 10pm at night! Also they pre-authorised my card by a large amount and the funds were not in my account for days.I paid my bill on departure and still had money withheld from my account.This i felt was not explained and i will not be doing this again!!!

    Taxi ordered by reception to collect me from the station didn't turn up - even after 2 reminder calls

    Excellent ambience, Nice rooms with good view.

    Travelling to the dinner area you have to cross the road. Carrying luggage to the room from the car park was labour intensive.

    Our two year old son was not allowed to use the swimming facilities even though we had the "little Swimmers" for him to use.

    Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Hotel was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly. OVerall - minimal fuss and maximum efficiency

    Functional and lacked soul apart from bar. Hard to find with no sign posts

    Hotel was spread out therefore was very quiet, grounds were well kept.

    Perhaps a map of the grounds would have been helpful, rather than just you are staying in the building over there!

    We stayed in Latimer Mews, one of the annexes, which was really relaxed and pleasant. Good breakfast.

    A lot of stairs in the main hotel and so not very good if you have a disability. Car parking became difficult during Saturday since there was a wedding in the church within the grounds.

    Nice room, good temperature and warn bedding. Good facilities - comfortable.

    Not at all happy that the lights above the bed did not work. I like to read in bed and this was really annoying.

    Comfortable room, tea making, ironing board and iron

    When we stayed this time a wedding was going on and all the guests for the wedding got priority over any other guests. On the Sunday morning for breakfast we had to walk, in the rain, to the cormorant restaurant area which was 100yards away, because the wedding guests were allocated the conservatory for their breakfast. Umbrellas were provided but the restaurant area was cold and the food on our plates became cold quickly. On a previous visit we had breakfast in the conservatory which was most pleasant. We paid £15 extra for breakfast. The evening menu for food was spartan to say the least and we ate in the bar in the end. The food was overpriced for what it was.

    Location was stunning! amazing old house and good grounds and beautiful countryside. Breakfast was excellent - great service from waitress (young black girl) so friendly, charming, helpful.

    Shower didn't work and bath was too small - I'm 6'2". (Room M604)

    Very nice location, Room was of a good size and the bed was nice and firm !

    Upon checking in I was given a room already in use and the receptionist did not fully look upon the computer etc. The paperwork was already made out upon with the first room number, but after i went back to the reception to change the room the lady did say sorry for mistake and was given a nice fresh room. I must also say that the cost of the food within the bar and resturant is very exspencive and therefore drove to local Red lion pub etc.

    Spider webs in bedroom and rims around taps in bath were dirty. Walls were paper thin so quite noisy
