    Quiet hotel, with good food and comfortable beds.

    Warm and friendly staff, excellent food, very nice room, lovely to meet the dog!

    Nothing really bad. Room perhaps a little small for a long stay.

    one good note was the freindly staff and the bar meals were ok.

    room and bedding not very clean bathroom and bedroom needing a complete gut heard every noise available even next room using toilet, how this place has 3 stars amazes me and my wife

    " Overall very good food, good staff and reasonably comfortable. Very convenient location for Windermere. Good value for money, and despite the above comments, we would stay there again." (108413035)

    Food Very good, plenty of it and reasonably well presented. Breakfast was excellent. good guest ales x 3

    The shower door was dirty and the pull cord for the electric razor/shaving light was missing.(It was a dark bathroom and the light was deemed necessary). The bestway of describing this hotel would be as 'tired' and in need of some refurbishment but that should not detract from people staying there.

    The staff are uniformly caring and attentive.It is one of the most pleasant experiences I've had in a hotel either here or abroad.It was certainly value for money.

    "We stayed for 4 nights B&B and also had an evening meal twice whilst there. It was a pleasant experience and we were located in near proximity of everywhere we wished to visit. A very enjoyable stay which we hope to repeat in future and we would recommend Gilpin Bridge Inn to anyone on holiday or business in the Furness, Cartmel or Southern Lakes area." (107938888)

    Located in excellent position for M6, Furness and Southern Lake District. Plentiful free car parking. Good quality accommodation with en suite facilities, nice furnishings & decor. Good quality food available lunch times and throughout the evening. Helpful and friendly tenants and staff. Smoke free environment whilst providing covered smoking area with seating.

    None worthy of mention.

    "Quite good value for money for an overnight stopover... but not for an elongated stay." (107159631)

    Good and friendly service. Good Breakfast.

    Room rather small. Wash-basin outflow congested. Room full of small flies / insects - because the window had (quite rightly) been left open for ventilation but there was no fly-screen.
