staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Made you feel at ease and as if nothing was too much trouble.

"Initially we booked to stay from the 23rd to the 26th December,unfortunately we had to cancel the first night,we did inform the Guest House accordingly.We did arrive on the 24th December,and decided that we would stay for an additional night.However,when we ask for our bill,we were shocked to be told that we would have to pay for the cancelled night,full cost (100%)( we were aware that we may have had to pay something additional),somewhat contradictory of the conditions of cancellation.We did protest and thought the decision was quite harsh.However the owners had made their decision,and reluctantly we had to pay the full amount. No complaints about the room at all.Excellent choice of breakfast items.

"Really enjoyed our time there, slightl;y spoilt by awkwardness of departure." (97962944)
Very nice welcome, with bags being carried inside. Lovely breakfast and varied range of food and drinks with polite service. Very clean rooms and bathroom.
No information of how and when to pay, which made us feel a little awkward. No offer of help with luggage on departure.

we found the hosts were very accommodating and very helpful to any question we asked,and would certainly use them again. food was excellent and this made our stay very much to our liking.

"En suite bathroom well fitted out but would have appreciated a shelf in the bathroom to put our toiletries and maybe a little bit wider!" (107195712)
