    Excellent. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, furnished to high standard. A very comfortable four poster bed. Nice and quiet, we could not hear any other guests when were in our room.

    None, really. A king size bed would have been an extra bonus.

    Breakfast choice was really good and breakfast was lovely. Hotel decor was very clean and fresh. Staff friendly

    Our room was above the side door (no 8) which banged all morning (from about 7-8am)

    Very friendly and helpful staff who seemed keen to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Very reasonable price for the calbre of accommodation, good food at dinner time and especially the breakfast choices!

    Shower could have been more "powerful". No evidence of an extractor fan in bathroom, maybe not working?

    The hotel, rooms and restaurant were beautifully decorated.We were impressed by the way our telephone booking and queries were dealt with, and very pleased that you were so kind as to allow us access early to get changed for the wedding we were attending.Thank you!!!

    We found it difficult to gain access late at night. We rang the bell on all doors several times and it took ages, including a phone call, to raise the night porter.To give him the benefit of the doubt, he said the doorbell was not working.

    Room was well maintained and set out - all in working order. Staff friendly.

    Breakfast menu should be more thoroughly explained, i.e. two courses available....

    Modern, spacious, really friendly staff, we got a great discount offer which made the trip great value for money (and bought it down into our price range!)

    Rattling windows in our bedroom! The room had lovely huge bay windows and it was really windy so I guess that's why it happened. Anyway it didn't bother us too much.

    Wonderful room and convenient location at a good price.

    Tried to overcharge us on checkout. The room was at the front of the hotel and close to the main road contrary to our request.

    Gorgeous hotel, tall ceilings, lavish rooms, requests adhered to. wonderful hotel for the price we pad,

    length of wait for breakfast - considering there were few other tables at breakfast it did take along time to make, however it was very posh and very nice once it arrived

    I thought the bathroom was very modern excepcinally clean,and excellenty designed , the Room its self was very sapcious one biggest been in lovely old features to room such as covings and large doors but all with modern furniture.

    Would like modern appliances to complement bathroom and bed e.g tellyvision small
