    Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was lovely

    Check out being so early at 10:30. Midday would be better.

    Excellent quality breakfast, clean, newly refurbished, easy to find, friendly, no fuss, nice pub.

    We came back late from a wedding elsewhere so had no trouble with noise, but there was a function on till late (12) and the noise carried on until about 1am so if you were looking for an early night the noise would probably be disturbing. Water pipes in the bathrooms are loud - banging etc.

    The place was well situated for where we were going. They were expecting us and ready to take us to a clean well appointed room. Breakfast was good

    Very clean,modern,spacious and comfortable room; very friendly and most efficient staff; excellent food; hotel well situated for visits to both north and south coast of Devon/Somerset and several National Trust properties

    Nicely refurbished premises.

    No record of our reservation and no arrangements in place for returning after the pub closed at 10pm. Was asked to stay and wait for one of the manager so we could be given a key to the back door. A phone call to the manager resulted in us being offered a room. The room was small but nicely furnished but the door was heavy and difficult to open. The bar assistant forgot to ask us about breakfast.

    Plenty of parking, earlier check in than most hotels and later check out, extremely friendly and helpful staff, lovely decor, beautiful room, delicious breakfast, very reasonably priced.
