  "A good hotel with good facilities and very well priced." (108315509)

  Very helpful land lady who helped me when the booking via internet failed.

  I initially booked the hotel via the internet and I only found out that it had failed when I confirmed with the hotel on the previous night. Not very impressed but this was rectified by the land lady and luckily a family room was available.

  "ok for what we needed as we were out visting relatives most of the time." (108526715)

  staff in hotel were very friendly, and the food was very good.the ground floor area was very nice but upstairs needed a refurbishment

  the bedroom smelt of cigarette smoke which we didnt like,asked for an air freshener we it didnt appear.the television was not connected properly so were only able to get 2 channels.

  "Very good, when we're next in Wales again, we will definately be staying there again." (108394437)

  The staff were very friendly and approachable, and the food was lovely.

  There was no doors on our wardrobe - thats the only bad point I can think of!!

  Location for access to my meeting

  The room had a window that wouldn't shut. As a solo lady, i was concerned about the security of the room. When I raised it with the Manager, the response was "well, what do you expect for the money? You would normally pay £60 for a room around here. It's only that the room hasn't been done up that you are getting it so cheap". I was offered a refund, but as a traveller who had travelled by train and had no knowledge of the area, I had no option other than to stay there. Whilst I recognise that the hotel was full, it would have been nice to have some understanding and acknowledgement. A little bit of courtesy would have gone along way!

  The room Size was pretty good! The room and toilet were very clean! Good facilities provided!

  Wifi Connection was giving problems. The room was at times dark, so could do with more lights!

  "The room could be easily improved by updating the bedlinnen and carpets and by putting in brighter light fittings. Everything was very clean and well maintained. In general, small-scale and welcoming hotel in a good location. The restaurant server great meals and staff is very friendly." (107713347)

  Big and comfortable room, lounge and restaurant very nicely done out.

  Difficult parking area, room rather dated

  room was large as only one available was a family room.

  lots of road noise. no shampoo or soap.breakfast items had been cleared before i arrived at 8.30pm- although staff did apologise and breakfast was good once sorted.
