    "It was unfortunate that the central heating was not working but staff very apologetic and there was hot water. Had the carpet been cleaner (or a darker pattern!) and the heating working we would have had no complaints." (108816303)

    Staff very friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. Large room, large bathroom, very close to hospital we were visiting. Very clean, warm duvets.

    The bed was comfortable.

    The showernever reached more than tepid. We booked breakfast for 8.30, but no-one arrived to prepare it.

    Nettes Zimmer. Frundliches Personal. Gutes Continental Breakfast.

    Da unser Zimmer auf der Seite der Küche lag, war es etwas laut. Matratze war schlecht.

    Friendly, comfortable, good location. Great traditional pub next door!

    10-15 minutes walk to town centre Good real ale with efficient staff Clean, quiet & spacious en-suite twin room with power shower and bath

    Food menu was limited and could be improved. Vegetarian options were very limited.

    "the staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive to every thing that we needed. the hotel was clean and the rooms were a fair size. we had a great time at this hotel i have stayed in many hotels and this seemed a more personel touch " (107348837)

    this hotel is a good b&b. great value for money and the location is fantastic to explore this region of england

    "Will never return, and never recommend it to anyone else. Had it not been for the phone I think it was a very convenient and pleasant place to stay. " (107965023)

    Room looked lovely and homely

    A phone in the room below me rang every 15 minutes every night and there was no sleep to be had and no way of contacting any staff to sort it out. A formal complaint has been sent.

    Large clean room. Good bath/shower.

    Was in formed that breakfast was at 9.30, no use at all to anyone on business.I had to be in an appointment at 9am

    "Lovely time, visiting the Southampton boat show so was convienient and had a fantasitc time, ideal for visiting local area!" (107229345)

    The friendliness of staff, particularly the owners were amenable, chatty and very welcoming!

    "Would not stay here again as I think there are other hotels with better service available. " (107246116)

    Nice and warm room. No noise from pub after midnight. Good location - easy walk from Dorchester Station.

    Room was not ready until about 3pm when information sent through Hotel said that it would be ready at 12pm.
