    the room was very small very out dated and for an extra ten pounds ive had alot better also breakfast wasnt served until 8:15 yet we had to leave at half 7

    Excellent food in evening, kitchen and serving staff helpful and attentive.

    Essentially a single room, with a double bed crammed in. No room to move around. Open shower in the room. Next to the main toilets and the residents entrance - noise and disturbance through the night. Incorrect time for breakfast given on book-in. No secondary lighting in room - only ceiling fluorescent. Shower electrics look new, but do not comply with legal requirements

    we booked a double room with ensuite and was led to believe it was shower and toilet. it was actually a family room with toilet and Jacusi bath which didn't work. there was a hole in the bathroom floor, the lights over the the single bed didnt work, ( the lights did not affect us) the carpet in the room was very badly stained with dirt. I went to have a shower in the comunial ladies shower and it was only very hot or really cold water.

    The hotel is located right on a crossroads at traffic lights, which was not evident from the description. Noise levels were bad. The shelf in the bathroom (room 7) tilted so you could not put anything on it and the extractor fan was inoperative. There were holes in the walls and the springs were nearly coming through the mattress. The window stays were missing (14) so we had to keep the window open with a clothes hanger, the wardrobe doors if touched would fall off. Holes in sheets and towels. The bath was chipped and the sink was loose on the wall. The breakfast was ok except that you got your tea in a mug sometimes in a chipped mug you felt that you could not get another,there was never any sign of tablecloths and you ate your breakfast with the smell of disinfectant as the staff were busy cleaning in between serving guests.

    clean hotel

    disopointing all round, breakfast was poor it was like sitting in a transport cafe, this hotel generally needs updating, 4 star i don't think so.

    The security of the room was very poor as the door did not lock. The quality of the furniture in the room was poor.

    Clean Room, good location

    Food wasnt brilliant, no complimentary soap/toothpaste provided, standard in any other hotel!, Shower took ages to warm up and the water came out slower than I can type this!

    staff well mannered.food excellent.bed linen towels of good quality

    only downfall of weekend was the beds made of metal and kept us awake most of the night,due to being old.when you turned over the beds squeaked especially the bunk beds.in the end we put mattress on the floor so my 65 year old mother and 8 year old son could get some sleep

    clean beds and linen.

    lights broken hanging off the wall,no hot water(1 sink full then gone)eletrical wiring taped to the floor,breakfast not good,no locks on windows,no remote for tv,bath dirty,room damp and cupboards and drawers stained and broken. if it had been more than 1 night there would have been a row,asked for more money on check in. WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN OR RECOMEND TO ANYONE,THE PLACE WAS A DIVE AND A DISGRACE TO THE HOTEL TRADE.

    Good breakfast. Pleasant, helpful staff. Very concerned that we had a good stay.

    Very basic room for the price. (Have had better for less) Poor quality towels. No shower gel or shampoo.

    "Originally, we booked two nights, but were forced to change the hotel after the first night. Thank God there was a decent place across the street, with a clean & spacious room, working shower and nice breakfast." (107167179)

    The room was filthy and extremely small (to be advertised as a family room), there were dirty glasses (pints) waiting for us, the TV didn't work, the bathroom was outrageous with a "nice" damp smell & feeling, the shower didn't work, the breakfast table was sticky from last night's pints.

    "Wouldn't return to this hotel although the people who run it do seem pretty friendly" (107222644)

    The online booking system was very good. We even had a text from the hotel saying it was ok to park our car in the car park early if we wanted. The bed was clean too and the people who run the hotel were quite friendly.

    Where do i start. Well the worst thing was their was a floater in our toilet when we first arrived in our room (yes a floating poo). The breakfast was served by somebody slower than a sloath and wasn't particularly warm. The general maintanance of the hotel was pretty poor. I could wee faster than the speed of our shower.
