Pool facilities, cleanliness, entertainment facilities, good chatty staff who generally went the extra mile.
Lift down to leisure facilities a bit annoying, you press 'down' which just summons the nearest lift, but only one of the three lifts goes down to the leisure facilities so there can be a long wait to get the lift you need.

Leisure facilities, comfortable room, excellent toiletries, good breakfast.
Evening meal was fine, but wine list is grossly overpriced!

Hotel had no record of our reservation despite being shown the confirmation email. It was only due to the assistance of the staff, who were very helpful, that a booking was honoured.

Clean - Friendly - well situated hotel - great to arrive and have the car taken to be parked - Fabulous break ....
Only had one night stay - NEEDED LONGER !!!!!!!

Online booking is easy and efficent.
Attention to detail particularly with regard to cleanliness is a recurring issue. In general the standard of breakfast in hotels in the uk needs improvement.

Nice design of rooms, quite, clean, good location. Would recommend. Liked the buffet breakfast idea.
Couple of lights didn't work but we weren't really bothered. The only bugbear was the automatic charging mini bar. I inadvertently triggered £10 of charges and this happened to other people I overheard. Whilst this charge was quite rightly cleared at reception I did spend a couple of hours preparing myself for an argument should you try to enforce it.

Nice room. Good breakfast. Breakfast and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.
Computer system went down as I checked in. Air conditioning plant (I think it was) started up at 5.30pm and meant I had little sleep. Hotel tried to overcharge me. Not able to use my own mobile broadband.

Nice rooms, great location & excellent value for money
We booked five rooms and when we checked in they only had four, after a bit of a struggle we got another room but it took 20 minutes. In the end they did give us a free upgrade after we made a fuss

Staff on reception were excellent - couldn't be more helpful
Standard of breakfast both in terms of service and quality was not what I would have expected for a hotel of this rating.

when we complained something was done
Room had not been cleaned, booked a twin room but was given a double room, a twin without a bath - an accessible room was offered but as we had booked a twin room surely that should have been the room we should have had. the room had not been cleaned for new tenants when we complained our complaint was listened to and we were moved.
